| Off the synopsis I expected far better, but it was cliche and mediocre. The character development of climax for him to being accepting of her feelings to later start dating after realizing he can't focus on playing baseball at his best when she's not present was awkwardly fast-paced, but overall the protagonists are unoriginal and bland. Another bad boring romcom with the basic immature teenage heroine who's obsessed with the boy she likes (since falling in love at first sight) with a strong determination to continually confess her love, while passionately expressing her care and love with handmade charms and homemade disgusting lunch boxes ... to an indifferent to others but popular and talented baseball player who's solely focused on the sport. Secondarily, are her friends who always make remarks in teasing her of her frequent fails of confession, with the other guys being annoyed of the heroine's obnoxious presence, while later labelling her as the girlfriend ... and jealous female bullies that are briefly used in the middle of the story to almost ascertain that the guy doesn't mind the heroine until they become a couple... 'Dull. 2/10. |
