Is it just me or does anyone else also feel that both these shows share similarities in art style especially the character coloring and designs?

Also I've seen the first 2 episodes as of now. Are the people who worked on Kuzu No Honkai somehow involved in this? I would be interested to know.

I wouldn’t have noticed if you hadn’t mentioned it but they do look pretty similar to me.

Kuzu no Honkai art style is closer to Koi to Uso (Love and Lies).

It kinda does a little bit it looks more cute in super cub tho.
And glad to see people still remembering kuzu no honkai and I think koikimo main girl resembles hanabi in that Ed too

I frequently read some of the manga from time to time just to give myself some of that bittersweet vibes. I was in a daze when watching Kuzu No Honkai and was wondering why the heck people didn't like it, I get it wasn't trying to sugarcoat anything and was showing a jarring reality of real love or maybe they hated that Mugi and Hanabi didn't end up together.

Nevertheless it's one of my favorite romance shows but hard to recommend :P

Finally someone who gets the point of kuzu no honkai. I've gone back to it quite a lot too to remind myself that life isn't all colourful, I wish there were more shows like these which portrayed the darker side of romance.
Honestly it's my personal favorite in any anime I love it.

I like art in this cuz it simple and fits with the wholesome and quiet vibe this got going for it.
