Bro You really haved suffered like me 😭😭😭why they did'nt put Yoai (gay) title on anime Genre. But Yeah I would defiently suggest you Haikyuu (it is one of the best sports anime)

at first i kinda liked it but just after a short time it became weird really fast whole this blushing and stuff... Ah i don't wanna remember.

I thought it'd be a little similar to Haikyuu (which is one of my favourites), but if it's Yoai then thanks, but no thanks...

Theres a pretty solid reason why there isn't a yaoi tag, because there isn't any, I don't think there's even any implied at all tbh. Anime itself wasn't overly well paced for me and in terms of a sports anime it doesn't hit the qualities of character building that Ace, Slam dunk and major do. Also not sure what Haikyu has to do with this, sure both volleyball based but its not a version of Haikyu is it. But if you dislike it fair enough, not gonna argue that. Just don't be spreading false stuff regarding its genre as its misleading for others

I would have to agree. This anime was an absolute... train wreck :( I really had high hopes for it. Right when I saw the ending of episode one, I knew it would take a dark and mature turn. It gave me given vibes (with the whole suicide plot.) and well... SPOILER ALERT the suicide turned out to be a complete lie. Wtf? You are meaning to tell me he made up a lie he committed suicide just so he could quit without facing his team again. What a shitty and messed up idea. After that was revealed, I dropped the anime. It infuriated me so much. I loved the opening, and the characters were decent. But overall, it was just weird. The pacing was... so very slow. I didn’t like how they used the suicide as a main plot device, esp for the glasses guys character then it just TURNS OUT TO BE A LIE FOR LIKE.. SHOCK FACTOR?!?! All that trauma he had was for no reason and he forgave him in the end too. It went from me thinking “this is so realistic and covers heavy topics” to... “wtf... is this?” It was so bad. I haven’t finished haikyuu, but I’d watch that over this one any-day.

Agree. The problems about this anime wasn’t even the bl aspects of it. Personally, I didn’t see any points that led to it being a “bl” anime like people are saying???? but that’s bc I didn’t get that far into it. The problem was the pacing and just the horrible “shock factor” parts. and also.... the ml and the cousin... wtf was that!!!! 😐😭

Ik this show was really fuckin disappointing. It had maybe 2 or 3 cool animation moments but other than that it sucked ass. The only reason I stuck through it was bc of Subaru. The op is fire tho.

having suffered through this anime, it was shit. The drama aspects of the show felt very forced and conflicts came out of nowhere. The characters were not interesting or easy to get invested in. The antagonist team was more likeable than the main team. And worst of all, the actual sports sections of this show were poorly animated and lacklustre at best

for everyone saying "it's nothing like haikyuu" it's not supposed to be like haikyuu.. if anything, it's more close to stars align, than haikyuu.. as someone who watched both 2.43 is not supposed to be a copy or something.. it's not focused on volleyball as a sport in and of itself and the characters playing it, it's focused on the bonds between the characters.. SPOILERS AHEAD Yes, that wasnt done correctly and the shock factors were a big minus cause lying about suicide is a heavy topic, but again it's not supposed to be compared to haikyuu cause it's a different anime...

tl;dr 2.43 is not haikyuu and it shouldnt be compared to haikyuu cause they approach the topic of volley differently

Was it necessary to compare it to Haikyuu, I'm not saying I enjoyed this anime a lot but I had a weird attachment to it so I couldn't drop it. I really had high hopes from seeing the first episode and the intro was so good.

I’ve watched all the BL, yaoi amines so trust me: this one has nothing to do with it! I wouldn’t even label it queer-baiting! And I totally agree with the fact that Haikyuu is the best so there’s no base to compare them/ except that both deals with volleyball..but basically that’s all. Considering some good points I would say the OP is catching and there are some funny scenes. I have seen 8 ep so far I guess I will check the rest as well but basically just because I like this sport and pretty boys/ although it can be stated they are definitely in need of some character development to give the story some essence. All in all i wouldn’t give it another go..

lmao it not supposed to b like haikyuu? its its own anime and i saw sum1 else say its more close to stars align and i agree too im not finished with 2.43 im on ep 4 but i mean the pacing is kind of fast some animations were good and others eh yk but so far im not unhappy with it so yeah
