They changed a lot of stuff from the manga but it is among the rare series where you can take the liberty. Though there's one giant ass change which put many people off. Still a good show to watch and acting was top class.

As a guy who buy the Manga, adaptating this Anime is extremely risky considering the Manga art is so good and detailed so it must pay it back in the anime. That's why animation DO matter. If you ask me the reason why some Manga with godlike art story and art like Vagabond didn't get animated, surely it's because studio doesn't want to take risk adaptating Masterpiece into another Masterpiece. Take Berserk as example, SHIT, what does they get? The hate.

His VA's voice is pretty cool for me. I hope to watch it soon.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Tbh, it looks like they had 1 week to make all the episodes. Chances are that the animation team (if there was any) was heavily understaffed in this case because JC Staff always picks up way more than it can handle.

Gintoki and Sugita's birthdays are 1 day apart.

This one though...the manga is great, but the way J.C.Staff depicted it as a motion reel for a PV, welp. I'd guess mediocre anime are rife to meet their fate in Netflix after all (except Beastars, Great Pretender and few others).

The trailer for this ONA made it look like this was gonna some top tier comedy and stuff, but when it was released, it didn’t seem that funny and e animation was boring as anything. Art is cool but the animation is what drags it down the pitfall. Expected to much from Netflix
