Damn I was hoping for 24 but I guess there's not enough material yet. Hopefully we'll get a second season at some point

i think theres enough material with over 10 manga volumes just that the studio Ajia Do arent built to make a consecutive two cour show. hopefully they will be like Bookworm was where a Season 2 was announced at the end

this series just can't catch a break. a well done new shounen only getting a 12 ep adaptation (so far) and not blowing up? this one is a pretty straight forward dark-ish shounen so i was hoping it would catch on a lot. really deserves it tbh

yeah i hope it gets well received somewhere so it gets more anime made. i know the manga is getting a boost in sales now

Uhhh Aija-Do literally works on Nintama Rantarou that has 2000+ Episodes and still airing (since 1993). The reason for it being 12 episodes is probably because that's how many the production committee/publishers were willing to produce. Besides, it can also be a split cour series like Moriarty, where cour 2 is set to air at a later season/ a season later.

I read 10 chapters of the manga before the anime came out and so far (I have seen 3 eps) each episode covered 1 chapter (a monthly manga understandable) so if 12 episodes adapt upto chapter 12 (or even a few more after that), I guess not that many stuff is about to happen in this season? Seems a bit odd/off to me tbh. Something tells me that they are probably gonna announce a second cour but I could be wrong.

No I want to watch it and see where it goes. 12 episodes is fine, I definitely would drop it if it was 24.

I don't mind them stopping at 12 as long as they give us season 2 at some point. But I would much rather have 24 episodes in one go.
