| Fun little trip to the time Mikage "tamed" Tomoe, and then a "maybe" moment with Tomoe and Nanami. Kurama giving a live show at the end of the episode caught me off-guard, that was pretty good. |
| I loved this episode!!!! I really liked how they did Tomoe’s past, it weaved in nicely & wasn’t dragged out. Mizuki is hilarious as always & I lost it when he just interrupted their moment that was so funny and looooooool that Kurama ED LMAO |

| Well, I must say, I loved the manga so much but seeing the story and the characters into motion is so awesome! I'm loving every single episode so much!!! Tomoe's background story and Mikage's effort to help him was all so touching: the manga had more straightforward dialogues while here they chose to keep things a bit more vaguely, which isn't bad I think. It will help build suspense on those that haven't read the manga! The second part was just absolutely hilarious! I really enjoyed seeing Tomoe getting actually jealous haha but poor Mizuki xD Just how many times dif he get either kicked or strangled or blamed for something by him!? XD And Kurama singing Kamisama Onegai at the end was just epic!!! |

| Great episode overall, we got to see a bit more of Tomoe’s past and he seemed very depressed about Yukji and it’s understandable considering what happened to her and it’s around that time where he meets Mikage and become his master of sorts and was his familiar before Nanami came to the shrine. It’s funny to think that Tomoe was scared of humans but as soon as Nanami comes along things changed very quickly. From what I can guess now, he’s essentially scared of getting close to Nanami at the beginning because he fears that something similar to Mikage leaving the shrine and never coming for several years would happen the moment another human comes into his life. Which is fair on his part. Quite funny episode as well, poor Mizuki was getting bashed around by Tomoe at various points in the episode. XD They are definitely a good comedic duo together and bounce off each other really well. One thing that I didn’t expect was Kurama just singing a rock version of the ending theme. I mean I kind of knew what the ending was thanks to a round of Anime Music Quiz but I do know the context for that scene in particular and it doesn’t detract it from being funny. It’s random but it’s a nice change of pace from the usual ending I think. Otherwise like I said a great episode all around. |
