Digital Library

Pros:
1) Has a variety of softwares that can organize, add covers etc..
2) Size limitation is always improving and getting cheaper
3) Free or cheap Videos
4) Works almost with any file format even with DVD digital format known as ISO or IMG
5) Few Hard Drives can carry plenty of DVDs
6) Quicker access time ( Just click and play)
7) No unwanted features
8) Video and subtitle can be customized
9) More space means bigger files means better quality

Cons:
1) Need more Hard Drives since the introduction to High Definition
2) Hard Drives can be fixed but most of the time they end up dead, so you need good backup.
3) If you use more than 1 Hard Drive then you would need a big storage device with plenty of removable trays.
4) The video you download might take time depending on the speed of your internet connection.
5) Sometimes you don't find what your looking for
6) A virus might delete or infect your files

Old Fashioned DVD Library

Pros:
1) A DVD can be fixed if it has scratches all over, software programs are also available to retrieve any data if disk is damaged.
2) DVD can be best played on PS3 due to it's great upscaling feature, or with any DVD player with an upscaler to be best viewed on High Definition LCD.
3) Has menus and chapters.
4) Some DVD players can play burned data DVD, that would allow to burn more episodes but less quality.

Cons:
1) A DVD player can only hold a single disc at a time.
2) Although there are plenty of cases from normal to slim to double and boxes that organizes DVDs they still take space in the room.
3) A DVD has few episodes per disc ( minimum 1 eps maximum 7-8 eps )
4) A DVD has the worst subtitle font and color ( Looks zigzagged)
5) A DVD has a slow playtime
6) Sometimes PS3 shows subtitles in black.
7) A DVD is limited in size DVD5 = 4.7 GB & DVD9 = 8.5 GB
8) DVD has many unwanted videos such as FBI crap, Ads etc..
9) They are usually expensive
10) Most of the time they have poor quality
11) To organize DVDs is simply pain especially when your library grows bigger

My choice would be Digital Library using Media Player Classic with filters + Media Center.

Whats yours?

I downloaded Itazura Na Kiss long ago and watched it on laptop. The Media player I was using showed all 25 episodes on a list on the right side of the screen. The one I was using was windows I think unless you want the same menu as the one you get on DVD everytime you start it.

I voted for digital library.
As I said somewhere, I don't like clutter. I don't like to collect DVDs and stuff I bought and keep them for ages just to show them off online. I'm the type of person who gets rid of things as soon as I'm done using them. And one could brag about their own collection now on PSN and other online networks.

Edit: I only use my hard drive to transfer things when no connection is available or the email/program I'm using has a size limit. I use online storages ask Skydrive and other programs to store things I'm not going to use for a long time.
You can store things on email accounts too but there's a size limit.

Well never tried that once and never will be :P. I guess Digital is better by reading its advantages and disadvantages compared to the Old Fashioned.
