Is this manga a prequel or sequel to other anime? i heard several things saying that this manga "hitman" is a sequel or (include spoiler in it) of "Fuuka" which i haven't touch. I am scared to touch this series if it spoils other series since its made by the same mangaka

Yes. Most of Seo Kouji's manga takes place in the same universe. Hitman is the latest and it contains spoilers for Fuuka, Suzuka, and Kimi no Iru Machi, offhand. Hitman is, in many ways, a straight-up crossover series, and a sequel to all the others.

The Fuuka anime was written to be one season long and diverges very significantly from the manga at around 30 chapters in. If you care about spoilers, you should absolutely read the Fuuka manga before this.

Not really. You don't HAVE TO read the other ones to get Hitman because it's not THAT important that it is a crossover series. It's just that they have never crossed over this much before. It's not in a way that you would be confused about what was going on, tho.

The one and only reason I said "you MUST read Fuuka first" is because you said you wanted to read it spoiler-free and have only seen the anime. The way the Fuuka manga diverges from the anime is a massive spoiler that Hitman takes for granted. In fact, I would advise you to not read anything about the Fuuka manga except the Fuuka manga until you hit like chapter 40. Because that manga was like 200 chapters long, so exactly what the divergence is is common knowledge that's spoiled everywhere.

For the other series, the biggest spoiler is probably just "this character ends up with that character." It's really not a big deal aside from it happening to be those characters. I mean, you already know who gets together at the end of Suzuka because they're Fuuka's parents.

Ah, sorry. I just realized that you did not actually say that you had seen the Fuuka anime. I was very tired when replying to this earlier, so my mind must have been playing tricks on me. ^^;;;;

The point is that Fuuka has a big moment in it. Hitman does spoil it.

For the other series, the only spoiler is who falls in love with who.

Suzka, Kimi no Iru Machi, Fuuka, Hitman.

There's spoilers and references to the 3 prior series almost more then Fuuka had with Suzuka. I'd read them first if you're going to.

One line... This manga should be read after reading every Seo work.... This has spoilers from all his works... This should make it clear...
Order to read: Suzuka (2004) > Kimi no Iru Machi (2008) > Fuuka (2014) > Hitman (2018)

I would also encourage to read Cross Over (2002), Half & Half (2012), Love Letter (oneshot 2005) from him, They are good as well... Especially Half & Half and its a short read, just 14 chapters....
