| very good start, and a type of story for the ones who want to see romance - not a romantic comedy. |
| Rewatching this... and feels like kawaiiness increased. |
| This was a nice first episode. We see from the beginning that Sawako is socially inept and most of her classmates are afraid of her and constantly tease her. They call her “Sadako” like the ghost from “The Ring” Then we get to Kazehaya who treats her like a normal person and makes her feel like one too. He seems like a genuinely sweet guy so far,I can see why she’s already so attached to him. Because of him, she is able to get her feelings across to other people and clear up any misunderstandings. Sawako decides to be a ghost for the bravery competition and does a pretty good job. She terrifies almost every passing student without even having to try. That is until Kazehaya finds her. They have a sweet conversation, leaving her more attached to him. Kazehaya had the least amount of points in the bravery competition, so his classmates tease him and tell him to date Sawako for a week as punishment. He refused to do it as he couldn’t see dating Sawako a punishment. This makes Sawako even more fond of him. By the end of the episode she finds herself thinking about how she might not get to see Kazehaya after the end of the summer and cries. She sees him and thanks him for all that he’s done and for being a kind person. He tells her he thinks she doesn’t understand his feelings very well. Perhaps he is just as fond of her as she is of him.. |

| Ugh my heart HHHHNNNNNGGGGG >.< So finally I've decided to give this anime a chance. And although I usually don't watch Shoujo, I found this first episode to be rather entertaining and both Sawako and Kazehaya are of my liking as well. Sawako is such a cinnamon roll with a beautiful smile (besides, I've always loved her character design) and Kazehaya looks like a very nice guy, handsome yet humble and considerate. And not to mention that it actually surprised me that in fact, it seems he's the one who "likes" her and not the other way around as I had thought. So yeah, that was good for a change. But on the other hand, It also seems that the story will be pretty typical for a shoujo so I hope the characters to be the strongest point of this show. All in all, it was a nice start and since this show could be considered a "classic" in its genre, I expect very good things from it. |
| I liked Sawako innocence and her insatiable will to be of use to people and even tough people say mean things of her, instead of worrying for herself she worry for the expectations that others have of her, when Kazehaya defended her of the shit penalty the class thought for him, she tried her best to clear the misunderstanding by telling nothing was special about it and that it was one-sided all to protect him of his reputation, and only in the end she notice her loneliness and it's there's when Kazehaya appears and tell her to see each other over summer. For other part Kazehaya seemed captivated by Sawako smile back in the first day, so even if it's cliche it's going well. |

| That was a solid start to a first episode! I thought it was well executed on all fronts to be fully honest. I am curious to see how this show develops over a course of 24 more episodes. |

| My God this was pure cuteness! I fucking knew it!!! He liked her from the start! OMG! I just hope this doesn't end up being tragic and breaking my heart. Also, the reactions were priceless. I love Kazehaya's personality. Sawako is such a sweet girl! Can't wait to watch the next episode! |

| Every other sentence in this episode sounds like an emotional climax in the last episode of an ordinary anime, it kind of ruins the impact when something actually important happens. I also don't think we saw enough of quiet Sawako to appreciate the change when she met Kazehaya. 6.8/10,but with a smile throughout :) |

| I adore this anime! The main character is shy at first but once she begins to blossom and grow as a result of befriending a special guy friend her true beauty comes forth. She is a caring, honest, a little out-there. So cute!! |

| Okay first episode. This episode felt kiddish. Hopefully, it matures over time. For a 2009 anime, it has an amazing art style, much like March Comes In Like a Lion. |

| I added this to my list and removed it but I guessed Mamiko Notto voicing main girl is probably worth it and I didn't regret it was a nice start with interesting setting. |
| Super heavy Ore Monogatari!! vibes from this anime, so much so it's almost suffocating. I really liked that anime, so this seems like it'll also be enjoyable. Cute as hell so far. |

| Hard to believe it's been ten years since I've watched this. I don't know exactly how I felt back then, but this first episode definitely hit every note beautifully. It was 100% refreshing - its entire existence was refreshing! |

| I started rewatching this series because of the upcoming thrid season. I was prepared for getting nostalgic vibes but nor for already tearing up during the first episode. WTF! |
