| I haven't read the source and I didn't like the series. The fights looked cool even though I was expecting tbe fights to be more grounded in reality when I read the series' description. Some of the fights were cut short lasting less than a minute. None of the characters were memorable, I didn't give a shit about their motivations and their designs sucked hard. The plot about gods and shit didn't interest me in the slightest so I kinda gave up at that point and watched it for completionism sake. And the most important thing of all: the guy who was supposed to be doing brazilian jiu jitsu was doing capoeira instead. Also his fight lasted ten seconds. Also that marriage subplot needed more episodes. And the opening theme sucked. |

| I agree, the fight scenes were incredibly hyped, especially with the really cool animation. The problem arises outside of the fights, the story was very poorly explained, and the pacing felt very off to me. Many times I was super confused, other times I felt incredibly bored. I also really hated the opening and didn't like the ed either. |
| ye i like it too the story is simply about god slaying or deicide and i find the fights so hype a lot of the complains i saw was about the less elaboration on what the key and charyeok are if i remember right |
| The fight scenes are great along with the sound. I would say if you were to actually look at the story and plot that was portrayed in the anime, it would be difficult to call it better than average. |
| I'm honestly kind of amazed how much hate this anime gets in the reviews. Like, I've really enjoyed it since the first episode. Sure there are pacing issues and none of the characters are particularly fleshed out quite yet, but I didn't really expect anything particularly deep from an anime that's centered around tournament fights to begin with. I also wasn't influenced by any hype before the anime started airing, so maybe that plays a factor as well. I think the action sequences are a lot of fun and that's pretty much what describes my feelings as a whole. I just think it's a fun anime. |

| Agreed It was decent Very disappointed tho But not bad, the soundtrack, and fights were really good, BUT GODDAMNIT IT RUINED MY FAVORITE PART OF THE MANHUWA SO FAR!!!!!!!!!! That part where Jin comes to the group tourney last second with 1 hp and clutched. |
| It's not a good show by any stretch of the word. It's already been extensively covered in reviews, but the characters (and their development), lore, worldbuilding, and plot are all either nonexistent, terrible, or unintelligible. The artstyle, fights and animation are great, although I was expecting something a bit less "we throw magic fire dragons at each other and see who dragons the hardest" from a supposed "martial arts" anime. Music is also good, voice acting too, OP and ED fit the show well. Don't watch this if you haven't already. |

Peer pressure?It's because I enjoyed it's animation so I added it to my favorites but there is also a criteria for the anime to be in my favorites it's that it should be memorable and it was not.When I was watching God of highschool I really enjoyed it's animation.If someone asks me my favorite anime then God of highschool should always come to my mind but it didn't.So I removed it.Also taking screenshot of my comment will only make you a creep. |
