Poor Gamao. If only he'd been able to find a good part-time job. Is it just me, or did it seem like he suffered the most with this weird mask? That aside, the way Dream grabbed his tongue and slingshotted herself towards him for a punch was pretty dang cool.

I also loved the little flashback this episode, super cute!

It's a small detail but I like how the marathon they were running actually affected them during their fight. It adds a bit of realism to it. Although it was dismissed rather quickly but I'm guessing they were able to ignore the fatigue and continue the fight due to adrenaline.

Local homeless man brutally murdered after facing days of starvation. He died unloved and unmourned. Gamao's story is sad. Does he even know what the Dream Collet does? Kawarino says and Gamao himself confirms that he has done nothing for Nightmare. This means that all along, he did not accomplish their evil desires. This job was nothing more than a paycheck for him. After his initial defeat, he left Nightmare and got work. But every single time, he saw a chance at making his dreams come true. Which really, he just wanted to be able to eat consistently, so it's not that crazy of a dream. But taking that chance seems to have lost him his job each and every time. Unlike the others, he was not consumed by his burning rage and vengeance when he used the black card. He was tricked and you see his desperation as sanity slips away. If there was so much he didn't know about, what else did he not know? Sure, Nightmare is a group that burned the kingdom to the ground, but what does he know about it? Sure, he's selfish, lazy, and unempathetic to these other people, but his suffering is real. All he had to do was get the Dream Collet and bring it back. If he had to beat up some people to do it, he could live with that. Even in this final battle, he gave them the chance to hand it over. I'm not saying they should have, but the way they have presented him as an individual, I can't cheer on their victory. The way they just shrugged off his death and continued their race bothered me. I really hope they bring him and the others back somehow, maybe through a wish on the Dream Collet.

Is his struggle not our struggle? How many stories have been about lowly minimum wage workers risking it all for the chance of a shining future? People can get by on not that much food, but it's painful and the weakness it causes is horrible. Maybe he did some really bad stuff, but the show never mentions that, we just see him being used and never being able to let go of his old destructive life. Like a freed prisoner or a former mafia member, he just can't escape what he used to be. Rest in peace, sweet frog.

maybe if he hadn't been so pushy about it they'd have helped him get promoted to management ^_^ well his days of having financial worries are gone now
