I hated Sai. But in this episode Sai rocks..:D Sasujke doesn't care about Naruto thet much(right now). he spended his whole life hating Itachi, and concentrating to become strong enough to kill him :D They cant understand thet he is taken by darkness, and doesn't think about his friendships.:D

About Kabuto.. i really never know whats in his head, and what he really want :)

Kabuto and Orochimaru are such lame villains completely armed with asspulls. The sooner we get over these two boring antagonists the better

i would actually prefer they would drag that action scene than bringing boring flashbacks we saw for the 4 times since shippuden started.

at least the end was kinda exciting.

I've got to say that overall the writing is far worse then the original series (so far) there's good parts to be fair but this particular arc from the moment Sai was introduced was poorly written and extremely predictable. Not a single thing surprised me and almost everything I could even call out before it happened. Worst of all is Sai himself who they make a big fuss about and hype up yet nothing surprising really happens there's no big plot twist, you can basically gather his whole character off of his introduction. The quality of the animation may have sky rocketed in a way, it sure as hell looks "expensive" with the 3D and all. But the writing and battle choreography is generally worse. I am only at episode 50 currently so maybe I am judging too soon. However the only battles I thought were good was the battle between Gaara and Deidara mostly because it was large in scale.
And the battle between Sakura, Chiyo and Sasori because I think it was actually qualitatively good and felt like a "naruto" battle, most other battles were either average or even just bad or boring. Sakura's writing sometimes is slightly better but then the writer reverts into his "habits" of easy writing which make Sakura bad again. She could be worse, so unlike some people I won't just completely hate her, I think the writer tried his best but just has a bad habit, which hurts his writing every time it goes in the right direction.

So far overall if I were to rate the original series a 9/10 or a 10/10 (which would be extremely generous considering the last half, especially the last arc which was just down-right underwhelming and boring for what it was hyped up to be)

Then so far I'd rate it a 7/10 (episode 1-50)
Naruto would be a 10/10 if it was just the good part
and would be 9/10 in it's entirety, I can overlook all the fillers/individual short stories that take 1 episode each, I don't mind those at all.
It was honestly the final arc of the original series that took that point away. I wouldn't be surprised if a completely different writer took over or if they ran out of budget because honestly... it was hyped up to be like "the reverse" of when they were chasing after Sasuke and the Sand came to help them... and with such a powerful nostalgia to live up to... well it was just down right boring and underwhelming. All cards were pretty much immediately revealed, it was clear who the villains were what their intentions were Kakashi pretty much discovered all of it in like 5 minutes, and I could excuse all that if the battles made up for it but they clearly didn't. All of them were down right boring and the whole ordeal was finished before it was over I literally remember 0 of the villains names I only remember they were from the artisans village or something.
Oh! and to top the whole thing off the part where Ino just decided to become a medical ninja was the dumbest part of all. "I couldn't do anything"
no neither could like the other half of the characters because they barely fought to begin with and some of them were literally just there to get hurt, like poor Lee they probably did his character the dirtiest but even Naruto himself didn't really fight at all he really just got beat up and didn't use a single jutsu. Honestly Gaara's apprentice was probably the best part of that entire arc and her character wasn't even that amazing.
So overall I just hope they don't continue the rest of this series with that kind of lousy writing. I'll still watch it but damn... I feel like half of this stuff is just riding on Nostalgia while bringing very little "new" quality to the table.

Ughhh, I cannot with the flashbacks bro, however in this episode the flashbacks seemed to bend with the emotional music in bg. Sasuke is so op and badass and Orochimaru is one of the sannin, best of ninjas and they both still cannot hear 4 people running around in the hideout moreover Naruto shouting Sasuke's name after getting impatient so loudly, nobody heard it? Lol sure.

A very exciting chapter, you can feel the tension in the air and the anguish, the only thing I didn't like was that they didn't kill Kabuto when they had him right there, so many things would have been avoided...
