In this topic we're going to talk about some populair anime's you really dislike! I've seen that it's quite common that people dislike the trendy anime's that everyone watches these days, so let's talk about it and give your reason why :D It could be any reason like a bad plot, not your vibe or that you're sick of constantly hearing about it.

I personally really dislike Attack On Titan. I tried to watch it a long time, but I just couldn't get into it. The plot was weird to me and although I love fantasy/supernatural weird thing, AOT was just horrible in my mind. Maybe because I don't like tragic stuff? Or super realistic anime? I'm honestly not sure, but I just can't vibe with it.

I don't really get Death Note, the art style is just weird and thought it looked really boring. I haven't watched it but I might watch in the future to see if it is good.

It's not really trendy now but still popular, Black Butler. It was not up my alley at all and I stopped watching after a couple episodes. Idk for me I didn't see the appeal though my friends adored it. Not hating on the anime but it just wasn't for me.

I also still haven't seen Death Note! For me it wasn't the art style, but the plot summary didn't really appeal to me like you said, it looked kind of boring? I've thought about watching it too just to see.

SAO would be my answer but that's a popular response, so I'll say Anohana. I thought the story was rushed, the characters were not very likeable, and it was trying wayyyy too hard to be sad. It didn't feel naturally sad and by the end of the show I wasn't even crying.

The Promised Neverland.. I feel like I'm the only one that really didn't care for it. The story was interesting but it didn't really keep me hooked. Most of the time I felt like I had to force myself to pay attention. I'll still give the next season a try so my opinion might change.

For me it'd be Bleach. I got to some point through the soul society arc or whatever it's called then dropped it. I didn't care for any of the characters, the animation wasn't the best, the fights were boring, and the story was ok I guess.

Didnt really like DBZ and all the derivatives, never started but i am certainly sure that plot for me wouldn't be interesting enough, and i cant really stand the drawing stlyle, actually in Nanantsu no taizai manga, which i think has some elements of that style, i was forcing and i am currently to finish it, not talking about so-so plot, which felt just too long for the sake of being long.

No game no life - There is a ton of reasons for this one so likes just say I disliked it a lot
One punch man - Wasn't funny
Elfen Lied - Tons of reasons here also, Lets just say I have never been so thoroughly annoyed by every single character in a show.

Evangelion is a anime that I think is fine but I don't see the reason why it being a masterpiece. the characters are annoying and not flesh out and The story is confusing and convoluted.

I don't know that boruto is popular or not but I saw many hateful things about boruto because it has OP kids, we wanted to have handsome naruto ..... plus boruto's biggest mistake is ruining the day when naruto was going to become hokage I thinked that it will be grand and the thing for which naruto done so much hardwork get spoiled :/

-Assassination classroom
-Yuri on ice
-Bunny girl senpai
-Anohana

For Assassination classroom i didn't really feel a connection towards any of the characters and i felt like each episode was the same. They would train and try to kill the teacher. I felt like there was no new lead and idk it was boring to me. I only watched the first season, maybe the second season would change my mind.

For Yuri on ice, it was really cringe and nothing interesting was happening, by interesting i don't mean action, i mean drama. They would play the same song and do the same dance over and over again.

For bunny girl senpai, i didn't really vibe with it. ok there would be a new story every now and then but i didn't really find it interesting. I found the characters somewhat annoying and they tried to make the ending sad in the most dramatic way. I wasn't invested in the plot at all.

Lastly for Anohana, it was very boring. Each episode would be the same. They tried too hard to make the ending sad and i was really disappointed about the duty menma had to fulfil before she left, i expected something more interesting and a better reason.

i hope you don't hate me if you like any of these animes, these are just my opinions

dont want to offend you, but dragon maid. it was funny in the first 2-3 episodes, then it got boring. repetitive, annoying and awkward jokes. the characters were so unlikable. its typical sol, so no story. but actually was expecting BIG drama in the end, but the cliche drama lasted for a few minutes. in the end, it was pain, watching that.
its my opinion, tho. i just got weird taste, when it comes to humour. i get why people love that. just couldnt bring myself to like it, even if i tried.

i feel ya. i actually really hated no game no life. stupid, unenjoyable, awkward ecchi humour. im impressed, that ive actually finished that show.

My hero academia.

Yes, it is a nice shonen. Yes, the characters are alright, so is the story. But it is nothing beyond 'generic'. The worldbuilding is not very detailed and most characters are one-dimensional. That’s okay, because it would still be an enjoyable watch.
But not for me. Sometimes while watching, it just bored me to death. Oh, tournament arc? Finally over.
Every time I get this feeling, I stay away from a show for a while, and if I don’t think about it further, I just drop it.

Also, the main character is an annoying crybaby, and I don’t like these types of characters.

well not really dislike but tbh for me one popular anime that i won't stay for is Naruto. at first i was conscient that i was just givin up because fanbase but so i tried examine the content isntead just going for other's opinions and influence.

yet, same thing. tbh i didnt't got captivated by it and, inevitably, the fandom sorta annoys me and it didn't help, so my interest insta died.

i've been talking with friends i have that are into naruto and themselves said that some sort of inner conflict is starting and the cause is boruto.

Well sorry, Violet Evergarden. I like the premise but dislike the execution. The art of the show looks amazing, but the story just doesn't move forward.
