| A nice collection of stories. Some are simple moral tales, while others were more on the tragic side. Personally, I enjoyed the war veteran dad x nanny and the Russian lovers one the most, the supernatural ones were probably ahead of their time (it's hard to imagine that there were many manga authors that made attempts at horror and fantasy at this point), but I didn't like them as much, and they aged badly for the most part. Martian vampires was kind of funny, figured Ishinomori would go down a different route with that, but I guess the space race left that much of an impression on people. |
