If they do shifts of 2 keeping watch and 2 sleeping I dont see any way in which the goblins can silently break the fence, overhelm the 2 keeping watch and killing the other 2 sleeping. Moreover 2 of the 4 are supposedly assasin classes, they should know how to set up alarmibg traps and one magician who seems more competant than the mage girl from ep1 season 1 lol, he should lnow some detection/ alarm spells? I’ve read a reddit post saying that in the light novel, the goblins used that cave as a decoy while the main forces came down from the fortress to flank the noble fencers party. |
| There is also the fact that they were starving by the time they decided to send off noble girl. 1 rabbit for 5 people can't be called a real meal, let alone a whole days worth of food. So the others weren't exactly in the best shape. |
