| I heard some people say that if you don't play the game you'll most likely not enjoy season 2 as much because the anime does not give you enough context on each band. So ... is it as bad as it sounds or i can watch it as an anime only and really enjoy it? |

After season 3, a really good season, I downloaded again ONLY for the stories. The game certainly helps to bridge Season 1 and 2 (Season 1 is part of the game), not really required but if you come to like the franchise, it will help. Season 2 introduces more bands from the game (Besides PoPiPa only Roselia was really shown in season 1 and its OVA), and you have to assume the girls know each other. Season 2 retells some of the events of the game, to give context of the other bands. Thank you for all the information & context :D |
