Thanks :)

Most of Lupin entries (and even episodes) are independent and you can watch whatever order you want. As long as you've seen the way the gang met you can watch whatever entry you want.
The ideal start is the '71 series of Lupin III but you can also watch Lupin III: Episode 0 "First Contact" for a more summarized and modern version even though it seems to betting out some nuances of their meeting.
Every movie is pretty much its own thing, Part I to III are almost episodic and can start anywhere. Part IV is its own thing as well but it's the first part to have an actual overarching plot with some episodic stories but I'd suggest watching at least the "first contact" beforehand.

Then there's a completely different and darker storyline made of Lupin the Third: Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna -> Lupin the IIIrd: Jigen Daisuke no Bohyou ->Lupin the IIIrd: Chikemuri no Ishikawa Goemon.
This series is not just on its own but it has its own universe and very different take on the Lupin gang. You don't really need to watch anything beforehand since this version has it's own beginning and progression.

Funny how people can explain how to get into 50 years worth oof Lupin III content easier than Fate. Thanks this thread helps a lot.
Don't let others ruin things for you. Even if a toxic fan pisses in your cereal, you could just get another bowl of cereal.
