| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A relatively calm episode featuring more of Hatsuho Shinonome. I have to admit, she has a lot of responsibility in her character role (shrine maiden) and is actually important to the festival. She and Sakura has this bond in this episode/show that I like to see more of. Kid Hatsuho is also absolutely adorable. Same with Sakura. |

| The Imperial Revue lost to the Moscow Revue demanding demon magnet Klara, but clearly this is a maligned case than it meets the eye. And Hatsuho Shinonome, having lost her ego and confidence, heads home in total silent treatment fashion in spite of her importance to the festival. Despite that, Klara and Sakura's visit to Hatsuho's home rescinds both Sakura and Hatsuho's young memories which has since built the bond from their childhood. And Hatsuho's performance ritual is impressive, but worried for Klara as more of her memories emerge on the slow front. A casual episode that showcases Sakura and Hatsuho's bonds to the fullest, and therein lies their resolution and understanding towards each other. Looking forward to their cooperations in this fierce warfare. |

| I was going to go 4 but the close of this episode made me change my mind. It was only going to be a 4 because there wasn't enough giant robots for my liking, but I digress, you can't have giant robots all the time and the story was good. I also feel village rule 44 was already broken even when it was being said! |

| I believe we'll have around 26 eps so now I watching with other eyes lol Well, I liking Sakura Wars. Its nostalgic and I feel like an anime from 90' was converted to nowadays without lost the essence from that years. Sakura-chan best girl. |

yep i watch a significant amount of 3DCG anime and that is always been the case here on MAL at least EDIT: there are outliers though like Land of the Lustrous |
| Seems like Klara has some sort of buff ability or something similar I guess. If that's the case then the new moscow revenue (and the monsters too proly) wanting her makes sense. |

| Episode that sees introspection as the main point of the narrative, not that it is bad, but a more sustained narrative rhythm would have benefited, but I am not disappointed or bored of this episode, because it took a small presentation of the characters and an investigation to level of interpersonal relationships to understand the state of affairs. Also because the story has gone on discovering some inconsistencies hitherto hidden. Too bad that the animations are reduced to a minimum, so there are certain oddities, the result of not being able to animate many scenes, oh well! |

| It was nice to get a glimpse at Sakura and Hatsuho's past since it wasn't really explored in the game. And Azami was actually doing her usual ninja stuff this time, finally. Also LOL @ that village rule about flashy outfits. The jealousy from Hatsuho was real though. Imagine falling for a fine man but he turns out to be a childhood crush of your best friend and favors her instead of you, oof. Despite that, she kept praising Sakura for Flower Division's success when it wasn't really her but in fact Kamiyama who brought change to their poor combat and artistic performance. Once again, this anime pushes Sakura as main girl too much, this time by exaggerating her contribution, i really don't like it. Next episode looks like it could be fun, focusing on two girls who happen to be my favorites among the cast. |
