Volume 1 gives you a great idea for what to expect from this novel. It's comparable to Harry Potter. This world has many magical beasts and intelligent phantom beasts. However, the world has many different powers. From mages, alchemists, dragon knights, and swordsman inside Ichthyes continent. To the mysterious powers that reside inside the Karkinos continent. For this arc we meet an artificial dragon created by an ancient Alchemist from the Visitor's clan. And we learn of the long forgotten and dark history of the Visitor's clan and Aurelia's. Zaratan is made into a guardian angel and also becomes friends with Erica. Erica is now beginning to prepare for her destruction end by collecting all kinds of information from tales of forklore to mythlogy to try and uncover their origins and how they may be linked to the capture targets and her eventual death. Although she may seem weak right now, she will gain her own power later in the story and it feels incredibly satisfying. |
