| wow. admittedly, plot has never been utapri's strong point, but this time around everything was just so slow and dragged around that even watching for the songs and few funny moments got tiresome. there were just so many awkward 3-5 sec pauses that felt out of place along with the absolute barrage of repetition and variation of the exact same phrase by each character as if we couldn't reason out that the sentiment was shared by all members of starish without them having to resort to that. idk. i genuinely enjoyed the senpai's sss song more and i'm hoping that starish doesn't just win because they're starish. while heaven's reappearance felt out of place,, i've still been looking forward to their return all season so the end was definitely the most enjoyable part of this episode/season for me. not sure how i'm feeling about the new members of heavens though. they seem interesting, but honestly, the group was fine with just the three original members. who knows. i'm shocked that there's going to be a 4th season, but i guess i can't complain since it guarantees us so many more new songs. |

| The combination between normal animation and 3D animation wasn't fitting at all but that ending sure was explosive! That said the overall season was pretty decent, I wasn't expecting too much as I knew this would be a fanservice anime for girls as it was an over the top shoujo anime from beginning to the end. What I didn't realised until halfway through is that this had prequels as the anime just started pretty normally which is good in a way but a bit annoyed about it as well as there were prequels but with that I'll be now watching the prequels to finish this franchise or at least till there will be a next season? If at all? All in all the series itself was okay, can't say much more than what I said above but well I do wonder what the prequels will have to offer. |

| 1st I'll say. THIS WAS THE BEST SEASON so far. 10/10 and I can't believe what awful comments I read here.. T_T I am deeply disappointed in anime watchers nowdays. seriously... gosh... WHAT'S WITH ALL THOSE NEGATIVE PEOPLE HERE WATCHING THIS ANIME and 3rd SEASON?!?!?!? my freaking such LOW scores for this season and for this AMAZING show??!?!!?/ really kids... do you enjoy life at all? do you feell music at all? do you feel happiness? Do you know how to score good works?? do you live at all? O.o is this era when only bloody gore and hardcore or stupidly fluffy dramatic themed anime receive good 'votes'?! O.o shame on humanity really. gosh T_T such an Borring age if NO ONE ALMOST haven't been catched by beautiful messages of this anime and this year's season story developement Music pleasant feelings and messages... -------------*----------- nyah I'll now write my impressions and Explanation on show.- This 3rd season of UtaPri - MAJI LOVE REVOLUTIONS - was PICK of the series! it just left WONDERFUL feelings in me after watching it. and longing for more. Absolutely BEST continuing of one Reverse Harem anime, and anime with such theme as music, slice of life.. I watch and track this series from the beginning in 2011.when this UtaPri Maji Love went out firstly... and I must say how I am PLEASANTLY SURPRISED how this show is still going on and giving the best to watchers from beautiful music to nice developement of characters and good thrilling story! ****1st season 1000% was meeting with Chara, and their encounters with each other, director presenting challenge for them to overcome it and step up into world of profession and art they wished for from that school. they gave 1000 percents of music as utmost mathematical percentage. they reached friendship and music together and broke bounds to unimportant things chaining them to express themself in the way they felt. also we saw a bit of their life stories.. ****2nd season 2000% gave us a 'growing up & finding out & strengthening in new world' for our boys, presenting their Sempais and their breaking struggles with personal lifes and their wounds. getting along with 7th member and inspiring Quartet Night with their friendship. also presenting other life stories and figting with personal problems. thats why 2000, they needed to give twice of first one by becoming pros to show approvance to everyone and to themselves.and ofcourse Rivals appeared here for 1st time~ ****3rd season... *I wondered what will be in 3rd season.. I guessed as much as only that it will be focused on QN ;3 I was right on that one thing. but 3rd season Revolution.. the name perfectly fits. And I don't know why in some comments here kids wrote this word was overused since it's not. it gave meaning to this season and its plot. and japanese in anime like to use english words more if they want to give stronger meaning to something trivial but important. 3rd season started with fuss over Triple S entrance to represent country on biggest international sport event with music.. it's obviously soo challenging and important especially if you sing not for money but for the world to hear you. but under that premise Shining was hidding and using that event for even more great thing - Revolution. I bet 80% of those who watched 3rd season acctually wasn't watching this anime at all nor gave attention to the story developing and meanings behind every episode and song. I am annoyed by those girls and brats who only go bitching 'my guys yaaaa' T_T and don't care about story moving and characters overall. by REVOLUTION - DIrector meant changing from current 'staying mode' to something which will 'move on' in unknown but strong quallity and catching current.. they were doing good, but not best and nothing new happened to keep them moving music. art is free and art never stay on one place, but to move 'art' you need knowledge, passion, motivation, inspiration, experience, love, faith and curioity. the problem was from the beginning QUARTET NIGHT. I don't know if I was the only one - BUT I realised that they were perfect group just on outside. in fact they were faraway from perfect and good Sempai group. beside 'perfectly' done work they didn't have deeply thoughts about what they do. beside Reiji. They were without true 'LOVE' and friendship for everyone and for music. Shining needed for them to understand importance of all those things and emotions which build one person one great Artist and MUSIC that will be given by them to listeners. to bring all that out of them isn't that easy since they are older and brought under various circumanities together, and perfect in their jobs, so critique won't be taken deep. only way is to give younger one push up and to catch older one in current..Starish who are friends from school days and got into that world at same time and under different goal, it was mission for bigger goals to inspire older ones getting to hights of understanding. Honestly it bothered me since 2nd season how Quartet Night manage to do like that without true passion understanding and friendship in their group. And Shining decided to do that with no other thing but by wonderful art MUSIC. and Nanami was the best instrument for that since she did compose and feel the music on best way to convey all that to guys and to lead them to the path of understanding. That was imported Revolution in way of QUartet Night. Revolution on way of STARISH was to give them also stairs to motivation and to bring even their more and more best! and to lead them through new situations and events to keep them growing stronger and getting more experience to be true great Artist. Also for Nanami that was kind of Revolution - she needed to Understand them all and to convey it through music and help them release it with songs he compose. Revolution as in global way - everyone grew up a little about knowing in music about themself world and bond between all of them. I liked ho they showed a little sides of each QN member. and een that Ai is robot and Ranmaru's struggle with rock and Camus 'disease' lol about perfectly done things and royal unsincere life...only I am not satified that they didn't show much at all about my Reiji >_< but I suppose they are leaving little by little for other seasons XD smart bunch those anime creators <3 I liked how their episodes were representing them and their problems and that wa also the time that song needed to be done for them and about them and to change them in positive way :) I like all SOLO songs <3 gosh I can't decide who is better >< about units wahhhh that was trilling XD they were put in new situations and given by difficult decisions! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HARD IS TO COME WITH ABSOLUTELY NEW CONCEPT AND espeically if you are working with group and everyone i totally oposite of you. *O* also Inspiration is hard to come by if you are only thiking. MUSIC ISN'T MATH. Real music needs time in terms of 'catching right moment' good versa lyrics or sound can come up suddenly but you need good way leading to that moment to be created. and when you think same too much it can just lead to unproductive way.. colors are different with the reason ^^ to bring out that beautiful sketches in harmony but differency..also acting person which you wasn't by script but acctually not understanding that you don't need to fake much just to represent your passions in way of that character but not to change yourself.. that was MUSICAL, COMMERCIAL, FESTIVAL..songs were beautiful and I absolutely understood all their situations and they showed it pretty well not too short and not too long and not too ridiculous. being musician isn't easy. and don't think music that you listen is brought in same ways and with same quallity and thoughts and circumanities. *O* I hope 4th season will be something between Evolution and Revolution - TO FORM ULTRA GROUP WITH ALL 3 GROUPS to perform on Triple S stage XD <3 never enough of good Harmonies, Music and Love. ^_^ also please don't be stupid anymore. I am tired of seeing tupid comments. HEAVENS aren't any close to imitation, sorry but Ono Daisuke isn't voicing something that will be group imitation T_T. They have their colors, oposite of Starish absolutely. They are interesting and catchy and they have their own colors. BUt I think they confuse the most out of nasty characters ad goals and that they until now didn't meet with real 'MUSIC' and feelings with singing that.. Heavens are like BLACK and Starish are like BRIGHT ~ Also shame on you who say 'annoying MC' T_T Are you nuts? This is one I can say among best MC in Reverse Harem. She is different from other girls for sure but she is true to herself and her character as that. she is COMPOSER and GIRL and person from smal place without 'glance of modern world' in big cities. We could ee her clumsiness and dumb faces in 1st season for sure XD but that's ho she is. SHe can express only through music and can well judge people through music and by creating it. She wasn't annoying running on everyone or pretending she's strong but acctually blinking on each guys like many other mc's in harem anime. She actually helped our guys to be together and to feel all music and love together. As good person as she is they were jut drawn by her and are respecting her. I like how boys also aren't crazy or annoying about her. I think Nanami is true sensible but strong girl Composer chara. and her annoying dumb faces and answer to awkward scenes are priceles XD it wouldn't be that funny without her and her big eyes XD in all I think that many too lightly take this beautiful anime in its genre. you can learn much from here and not just being annoying brat trying to sound smart giving low score and tallking about nonthless things without understanding and giving thoughts to this story chara and music. x.x p.s. I just have complaint as previous comment about combination of 3D and animated drawing in Ending and ther Maji Revolution song performance.. I would like them to NOT add 3D again x.x I like normal animation more it's natural explosive and powerful in it's beauty of movements poses and colors |

| Wow! That Cliffhanger came outta nowhere. Didn't see that one comming. So HEAVENS are back on stage (with ST☆RISH like members) and now they are somehow better than ever. Hmm Interesting, I can see that the next season gonna be quite fun to watch. |
