| Just wondering if someone here in the club knows a thing or two about kendo. To be honest, just watching/reading Bamboo Blade gives me some good view about kendo and makes me wanna learn more about it (learning from the teachings of Tama-chan >_< ). So anyone who does or want to know about kendo you can discuss here. I, for one, want to learn more about kendo ^_^ |

| Hard to say, I don't know much about fencing, but I think this two sports don't have much in common. Probably rules are different (I'm sorry, I know only Kendo rules, fencing is not my best side :D) |

| Aw, I always thought the rules of kendo is the same w/ fencing XD Does the doubo (right? the armor) weigh much? Kinda looks heavy |

| Does it really look heavy? It's not. When I started training Kendo, I also thought that bogu (whole kendo armor) is heavy. But when I tried it on, I realised that I was wrong. Men (facemask and shoulder protector), kote (hand and forearm protectors), dou (torso protector) and tare (leg and groin protector) weigh together something about 3 kg. |

| Well, I don't know about you, Wini, but my bogu weights at least two times more than yours ^_^ I don't know about fencing rules but at least Kendo has a spiritual part in it, while fencing is purely competition sport |
