This is only my speculation, but I think Rikka wanted to show Kuro how Kotoko treats "things that goes against natural order". In her mind Kotoko is a threat because she and Kuro is not exactly normal, even in spectre's standards. Kuro also suspect that too in near the end of the chapter but I'm pretty sure it's more than just that. |
| ^ ahhh i want to read more chapters.. I am most interested in the relationship between 2 main characters in this series, and this conflict is giving me exactly what I wanted. I want Kuro to show Kotoko how much he loves her despite him usually not showing it!! At first, when I first came into the manga series after finishing the anime series, I thought I'd be bored of this and drop it after a few chapters, and I actually did feel a little bored at first, but after I got used to the story telling format, I became so invested in this.. it's basically a short collection of stories akin to Detective Conan / Pokemon, and it all depends on how much you like the characters/mystery/story, and I really like this one a lot, especially this arc with the Otonashi family, the twists were really surprising with the children's plot of murdering their mom, and the actual reveal of the daughter's crime. The scene at the end was so nice when they all figured out Kuro was not exactly a human. The individual story arcs are interesting but I love the interaction between Kuro and Kotoko. Kotoko is such a little pervert, mostly due to the lack of attention Kuro is giving her, despite having dated for years.. but that's what make it fun. She's so frustrated at that and Kuro enjoyed teasing her lmao. Another pro is that each chapter is like 60~80 pages long and it's so nice! At first it was annoying because it threw me off, but when I really got into the series, having so many pages to read in a chapter is helpful more than it detracts. Hopefully it doesn't take forever for new chapters to come out though. Excited to read more. P.S. The art is fantastic too, I've said the same for the anime but I love the art and character design in this series. |
