| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- More of the dark truth related to Ash revealed. Now that we're almost at the conclusion of the season, it seems they really want to go out with a bang. Not to mention, Ash is really for anything and is prepared to make action regardless what stands in his way. Not sure how I feel about the CGI but the fight was pretty weird. Ashe's got no chills this episode to kick some ass though. About time those two twins are defeated... |

| HiroC's character, judging it's severe, thinking about abandoning the place. Sakurai-san's character created main guy to understand mother ship? Since 2nd generation Klariskrays disappeared, he abandoned him and mother ship picked him up. Both are man-made creatures, but she, now know that she's 2nd generation Klariskrays, doesn't mind. Sakurai-san's character knows a way to exit, but choose to stay. The two vs. the twin enemy immediately. The twin enemy changed form and released many mini duplicates, which comrades join force. The twins enemy laugh when they lost, saying they understand why. Both of them are key (not just the girl)?? She saved him and absorbed his dark power, again. There's no one to stop her from becoming dark (awakening) this time... Using ED1 as ED this ep. |

| So the twins where defeated but now they caused trouble ones again with their parting gift. Matoi needs to be saved, even tho she was trying to save Ash. Still this episode explained a lot. |

| Well, then as Ash was actually Luther's science project that he abandons and was continued by Xion.... Oh dear Matoi become the Profound Darkness...again. |
| The twin revelations of Matoi and Ash's origins sure was a shocking one. Not the best way to break the news to Matoi though. Still it was amusing seeing Matoi manage to break Ash out of his shock while also shutting Luther down as well. It was cool seeing Ash and Matoi work together to purify the portal. Its interesting in that this act managed to reawaken not just her past personality but also her abilities as well. If anything the twin's personalities made the fight even more manic. Though victorious in the end Ash still couldn't stop Matoi from releasing that power huh. Damm looks like the endgame is set in the quest to stop their dear friend from destroying the world. Overall a strong ep that blended well action with strong revelations and laying the groundwork for the series endgame. Its nice to see Sarah finally get to meet Matoi again though wish it was under better circumstances. |

| My guesses about those tags Luther held being from previous Ashes was way off lol But this is quite the depressing episode. That was quite the emotional moment... Ash pushed Matoi out of the way so that she wouldn't become [Profound Darkness]. Instead, he would. But Matoi says it's not his fate to carry that burden, and so she saved him and absorbed all of Ash's F-Factor. When Matoi remembered everything... damn, even my eyes went teary. She even remembers Sarah. Matoi realises that Ash has been watching over her all this time. Matoi basically confesses her love for Ash, saying that he's the most important person, the person she cares for the most, the person she loves the most, before basically sacrificing herself. "Ever since the moment I met you, I think that I--" And then [Profound Darkness] returns. My heart was torn to pieces. Damn, didn't think that PSO2 Episode Oracle was going to make me feel sad and depressed. I thought it was just going to be some light entertainment with lots of fighting. How wrong I was. This is the worst scenario possible. Everything Ash has been warned against is happening. But there was no other outcome. Either Ash would become [Profound Darkness], or Matoi would, or, if [Gemini] had had their way, they would've. Looks like the last two episodes will be the final battle against [Profound Darkness]. But there is one Dark Falz remaining: [Persona]. I think he'll play a very important role here. If there is still some power of Dark Falz outside of [Profound Darkness], that means he/she/it is not at full power. I guess that's where the hope lies. I deeply hope this won't go depressing with Matoi completely and permanently dying. I hope somehow [Profound Darkness] can be defeated, and Matoi's suffering can end. And she can be a normal girl again, with Ash at her side. |

| Dammit Luther don't abandon your little experiment like that. I like how Matoi just shut off Luther while she speaking with Ash, hope she will be saved and not killed (like Persona tried to do) |

| That was an epic ending, now how will the story unfold... O^w^O Matoi's VA is so great at portraying the cuteness of her character as well as the farewell but it really needs more drama. The dramatic farewell was good but not good enough to make me cry. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
