| The club is still going strong with 3 members tho Ino is still getting used to her new role as club captain. Well it's nice seeing her try like that. The girls had fun teaching children which was also nice to see the club is doing a lot for others as well. And they even got some help from Suzu and her little sister. Manaka seems to be hiding something tho. |

| A far more down-to-earth tone for this episode. Mira and Ao's dynamic is still great to watch and the anime serves to be an inspiration during the scene with the kids. Suzu is still the best character. Ino senpai is finally going to stand up for herself. Monroe and Sakura are less involved but still great. A slow episode preparing us for the final act. |

| This episode reminded me why I fell in love with astronomy and physics as a kid! The grandness of the cosmos is both beautiful and almost incomprehensible. The idea that there's distances which takes light billions of years to traverse is almost mind boggling. Light can travel the Earth in a second. There's so much out there we don't comprehend yet, black holes, white holes, quasars, other intelligent life, etc. I hope this show does what NatGeo did for me as a kid and gets young people looking up at night. Def one of my faves of the year and wish it wasn't so poorly rated on MAL. |

| I'm surprised that Mira seriously took Suzuya's advice with that yuri-baiting pick-up line to cheer up Ao. Luckily for Mira, Ao didn't understand the pick-up line either, so that saved any further embarrassment. XD Either way, it's good to see this show back on air again, after last week's unexpected break for reasons most of us already know of. Ao did a great job in convincing the little girl that stars and galaxies are wonderful things and her influence certainly got the little one interested. =) However, I do want to know what Ao's mother told her. It must be the main reason why Ao took the day off from school and even when she did return the next day, her smile looked somewhat sad and distant. Whatever it is, it's going to cause some drama for our main cast... |
| I get the feeling there is more to Ao's 'cold' then meets the eye. Idk about you. But the way that was shot and shown. It looked like something was up there. I'd have to guess Ao is leaving soon or something. Finding it hard to tell others about it. But I'm just guessing lol. |

| Let me take a wild guess as to what's wrong with Ao-chan. It's gonna be the, I'm moving & transferring to a different school because of my parents work trope. It's happened so many times in other anime. I hope that's not the case but this pisses me off to no end. -_- |

| It's quite difficult to make kids interested by astronomy, but they somehow managed to use words and expression everyone could easily understand. However, I don't really like the fact the club only has 3 members right now (4 if we consider Suzu-chan coming regularly). I prefered the whole pack of 5 ! |

| I have to say I felt a bit out of the rhythm with no new episode last week. But after checking this episode again I do have to admit, it was pretty decent. Maybe it was just the start, that threw me off. After that it was just as expected. The first part was interesting as to see, where this whole story will be going now that they effectively are fewer members in the club. Nice to see that they got the chance to show other people what they like outside of their club. And of course Moe ist passive-aggressive as always. The second half was more of a typical element in a slice of life anime. I somehow feel ashamed, that I didn't expect one character beeing ill at some point. So next we'll see them taking part in a competition? As it's "earth science", I'm not really sure what to expect. Although I somewhat hope we'll get to see at least something geleogy-related. But with the theme of the anime that probably won't be happening, or at least not too much. |
| The Earth Sciences Club wouldn't be the same without Sakura and Monroe-senpai, with Ino as sudden take-over president with Mira and Ao left. But regardless, the club must go on. And a new task for the reformed club: teaching kids about astrology...more about getting them to be interested is the root problem though. And oh man, Inoue, do you know how to operate a camera? Even if any kid isn't interested, renewed convincing will tempt them again. The Yuri-baiting continues as Ao got sick, and rather than trying to help her recover, Suzu gives pick-up lines to help (especially) Mira and Inoue, which was a total "declaration of love" lie and hilarious that Mira tried and failed without second thoughts lols xD Sakura got her university recommendation, good for her, just not Monroe, which is sad. And Ino is ready to take the club to another level without the seniors going forward. More drama, here we go! |

| happy to see this back so soon, hope i wasn't the only one that felt like this was a bitter sweet episode with both the senpai's gone and busy with exams (Monroe struggling to get in ) because we all know her dream it ant easy . it's just sad bro this is normally the end of the season not used to the 3rd years leaving mid way through a show |

| Oh the club is teaching their fellow lolis and shotas about SPACE. How cute. Pretty chaotic really. Lots of nerves all around. Anyway now that I caught up I guess I'll share what I think of it overall. This show is fine. Not as good as Doga Kobo's other cgdct shows though. It just doesn't stand out enough. I think it has to do with the source material. Not enough contrast between the girls to really make them stand out vs each other. Ao's "problem" didn't seem to actually exist and her design was better when she was a loli. It is realistic in the science department. But that also makes them open to criticism when they mess up. (Like with mercury) it isn't as fun or as yuri as yuru yuri. Not as unique as new game. Not as cute as wataten, and not as lewd as Koihime Muso. This is Anama Yell level, right under Umaru for me. Still good enough to get a 7 but I'm not surprised it has a score this low. Lots happens but also nothing happens. Besides the museum trip and this episode it didn't really feel like it was using the premise to its full potential. Also they don't really show the planets to us. Just the dots. Seriously this is an anime about SPACE. Show us big images of the planets as they look through the telescope. Show us why we should be excited about it. |

| Ino is gonna be a great photographer in the future. Just needs some strength training.. Also I highly doubt that the current cast is gonna decrease in size. Just because they are graduating doesn't mean they will disappear from the screen...  also here's an extended lesson what Ao would've done |

| Well, not everyone are enthusiasts of stars, yeah.. When you'll make group activities or something.. With people who are not into that hobby.. There will be some, who are feeling aversive to the topic.. Like, if you'd present some anime stuff, and even would pick the most closer to casual people culture stuff.. You won't be able to please everyone.. The larger the sample of people is.. Yeah, stars stuff, as any stuff, really.. Is interesting, because it can tell us something.. Some stories.. Or teach us something.. Something interesting.. Just looking at stuff sometimes isn't enough.. lol at Suzu recommending 100 phrases girl will like.. ;P Lots of girls have stuff they worry about now.. I'm not too sure, if it's for better or worse that Ino got role of the head of the club.. Well, if anything, she always can refuse.. And maybe she should?.. Well, it's not up to me to decide, of course.. But I'm not too sure, if it's something what Ino wants in the first place.. With how she actually knows, what she likes the most, doing stuff on her own with maps.. She can discover something in the process, on the other hand.. So in the end I'm unsure.. |
| It was nice to see Mari and Ao teaching those kids about astronomy. Ao did a good job with explaining to Haruka why stars are more just glowing dots in the sky. Poor Ino. :( Her pictures were all blurry, but I know she'll become a great photographer one day. Suzu's pick-up lines were hilarious. Lol at Mari's blush. x3 It felt good to hear Ino say she wants to become an independent club president. She's now taking her new position very seriously. Sakura got the university recommendation. Congratulations! :) Poor Monroe though. She needs to give it another shot. |
