Ok scratch that maybe this is gonna go all Love Calander. I really hope it doesn't. It's the same thing with Tonikaku Kawaii and Will You Marry me if You're Reborn, everything looks all fine and dandy but deep down there's this eerie feeling that something bad is gonna happen

The way I see it, there are 2 possible ways this could go:

The 1st is where Serena realizes that she’s fallen out of love with senpai, and isn’t able to sustain a relationship where they’re that far apart. This is the case where the brother was right in that Serina was only in love with the idea of love, and not with senpai. There are a few hints like with how reluctant Serina was of hanging out with senpai (even though he said it was fine) and she kept trying to tell him to go and study. There was also all that talk during the sex moment about true love and whatnot. But the main part would be the fireworks scene, with A.) how she seemed to be fed up/frustrated when she was getting ready, B.) when she had to give a fake smile to senpai when he called her cute (usually she blushes over those things but this time she didn’t) and the main part C.) the last few lines where she says deep down she’s starting to lose interest in meeting up with senpai


The other situation, which is the one I personally hope for and I think matches with the characters, is that instead of falling out of love with senpai, Serina instead is scared that the time they have together is slowly starting to lessen each time with how busy they are, which is why the wavering feelings. Senpai is at least aware that something is wrong with Serina (like when she wanted to cut their meeting short or when she gave that fake smile after being called cute) so I’m guessing senpai is gonna confront her about it pretty soon. She also did tell him that if she ever had doubts and felt like she was getting used to being lonely that she’d rely on senpai to help her get out of that. Plus, she did reaffirm at the end that she still at the very least does love senpai before going on about the deep feelings, so she isn’t questioning her love for him just yet. Don’t know how to explain the semi breakdown though, maybe it was the reality part that their time is shortening kicking in?


Either way I really do hope this series doesn’t go down the “we’re far apart so we can’t be together route” because that would suck ass. Man it’s been awhile since I’ve been so invested into a series lmao, if only there were raws somewhere available I’d read them in a heartbeat lol.

I do see the examples throughout (especially with senpai's brother speaking his truths + during the scene when she's getting ready for the fireworks). I do want to see them together, and their relationship really start to develop and mature. Honestly, I knew that they were spending a lot of time together, as young high school couples do since they are able to, but I would like to see them evolve into something that is realistic and lasts! And him going to college could show that... Serena and Senpai are so adorable, so I don't want to see all that work they put in to go to waste.

I just realized that I forgot about how much they kept saying, "Even if we don't end up together..." or I think I remember Senpai saying something about him not being sure if they would end up together. The mangaka might be gearing up for something...They might pull the route, "He was my first love and I did learn a lot of things about love and relationships, but I will never forget him" or something along those lines...

And I totally agree! I wish there were raws somewhere! I need to see what happens next!

also looking at the release date and the manga probably being monthly I think the raws aren't any further either.

It pains me how many series' break up their character's relationships because they are not together all the time. I mean, it's understandable how that can affect a relationship, but I'd really like to see more cases where the couple actually gets through those kinds of "tough moments" together without having to separate. And tbf senapi isn't really the type to sit back and watch and is more open on these things (like when Serina asked why did he decide to go out with her) so I really can't wait to see what their confrontation is gonna be like. The biggest silver lining in all this as opposed to other similar ones like Love Calander and kinda 5cm per Second, is that this relationship is wayy more mature (unlike LC where the 2 where fighting over the silliest of things lol) so I think it might take a lot more to separate those 2 lol

Honestly, all the doubting about what direction the series is gonna go really came from that sex talk/the bro. Like before it just seemed like a purely wholesome romance, but those moments kinda lowkey started shifting things a bit. Especially that bit you're talking about, although I think it was more like Serina saying if they ever fell in love with someone else they would still not forget that moment (of the sex). Maybe we're all just reading too much into things lol but can't deny the susp is there

Also, I can't remember, but does Moe have a lover? Could've been mentioned in the earlier chapters, but she seemed to have lots of experience when giving Serina advice lolol
