THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not gonna lie, I expected this to be a trainwreck, but it managed to be fun, even if ridiculous at times, and I never got bored at any point. I didn't even mind the CGI for the giant bugs. Mutsumi best girl btw. Would watch a second part. |

Is there going to be a sequel? If there is I bet that pink hair girl is going to die as well as maybe the short hair girl too cuz she'll die protecting the pink hair girl...lol. I just don't like the pink hair girl cuz she's only using her. Gonna watch the second one if there is cuz I like the yuri too. |

Yep, as trashy as this movie was(as it should be) it was fun. Had even some yuri and the part where Akira went full retard with the parasyte inside him was just gold. Hope for a sequel or equally hilarious "horror" movies. |

Everyone in this thread must be trollin. The brutality and the nudity that the movie had was good despite really toned down. I expected a more brutal flurry of scenes akin to Black Cyc games if you know your stuff in the eroge world. It's everything the manga aspired to be...nothing that deep and thought-provoking. Just a bunch of people in a Mujintou Setting slowly getting ripped apart by dangerous insects. Mr. Nisekoi Director Tatsuwa Naoyuki obviously needed to make the characters look bland and fit to 2020 standards of anime...just look at the Orphan and how detached that looks from the original. We cannot really make anime that actually looks scary anymore with visuals alone so we need to create nightmare fuel elswhere - It did. The music was suprisingly really good and increased the suspense in the right parts. Actually speaking of sound design the eerie tunes in the first 4 minutes before the title card appears created atmosphere with slow camera panning and eerie sounds. Characters were nothing worth mentioning, I hated most of them especially the horny big boobed slut. One liner personalities everywhere but its just a Movie where everyone gets hurt or dies so it doesn't really matter. I enjoyed the movie and whoever made the troll review 10 minutes after finishing the film deserves to get slapped. |

Now THIS is the stuff I'm talking about. Darwin's Game was disappointingly decent with its first episode, but this here is... just wow. Ugly as sin, with amazingly crappy characters that you wish they will die. I especially liked that you have ~1.5 lesbian pairings currently (because that one girl is manipulating the other) and a completely necessary naked swimming scene. Also all the men are just complete assholes or idiots, except that Kai guy. But I'm betting that he is some underground agent of Umbrella (who else could be responsible for the large inscets on this island?). When it comes to scenes the first couple of kills were done by bad CG, which was great. The scene with the larvae was actually horrifying yet funny at the same time. I'm sure someone is getting off to that^^ Of course you can't miss the scene where Akira climbed the tower to some really out of place goofy music (but honestly, that those parasites really exist is so creepy...) Now my absolute favorite was the "walking down the hallway for over a minute with some rock music in the background"-scene. Damn, they even shifted the camera a couple of times! That was just so amazing. Yeah, completely recommend this show for connoisseurs of trash flicks. And I think it somewhat shows that the 5.0 score on MAL is some barrier that is pretty hard to go below :D |

It was way better than the 20 minute mark OVA that got released last year. For me it's a much more welcome inventation to read the manga to be honest, which I am planning eventually. Oribe Mutsumi best girl. |

Why the low rating ??? This was is very good. I gave it 8/10 Also, there is no need to watch the OVA, because the movie covers the OVA. OVA is 20 min and it was boring. But this movie is much better because it makes more sense and start from beginning. |

Engine on the shore, but they crashed in the water (dead phones). Nobody has a single scratch from the survivors. Ticks need to feed, going through their life cycle especially to grow that big (no animals on the island left). Turning on the power generator, still using a phones light when entering a dark room. I am not really a fan of B movies, and i wouldn't really categorize this as one. I'd put it somewhere at around Y or Z. There is what people used to say, "it's so bad it's good". Now this one isn't like that, just simply super bad. PS. We never got to know what Kai seen in that room, especially after highlighting it again, that a hospital like that is really out of place on such a remote island. |

The idea is cool, but it was the best of this film.... Animation, horrible, even SpongeBob has better quality... Music and sounds for cry.... The development insufferable full of fools episodes.... The voices/seiyuus to forget... In summary, bad, very bad film in general, but I cann´t understand how a studio japanese film movie, Passione Studio in this case, could created and development this horrible animation!!!!! 3/10 and thanks. |

Watching this was a real chore. I knew what this was going to be like going in and even read a bit of the manga but holy shit this was awful. I remember an exact point where Mutsumi was just walking down a hallway for a solid minute with really intense rock music playing. I once that was over I thought "I'm dropping this down one rank just for a wasting my time." I wasn't expecting much from this, and to be fair it does what it says on the tin, but I think the CG is the most disappointing aspect of this whole trainwreck. In the manga, you can tell that the mangaka is interested in making the insects seem close to their real life counterparts, but in this the insects really just come off as huge CG blobs that are kind of in the same general shape as the thing they're supposed to represent. Most of them are just models with basic 2 tone textures stretched over them. 3/10 Can't wait for the next installment |

This was an ok. The concept is cool enough and it kept me tense through most of it so I thought pretty ok. It reminded me of a old game I used to play called Bug Island which got me interested and I gave it a watch. It was interesting to see tons of insects I knew nothing about which kept the tension going. I went into this thinking it would be another Ousama Game since it has the exact same artstyle but it was surprisingly much better than that. Probably cause its not a death game and more a survival game. Since I knew nothing about these characters and knew them for so little time I wasnt too worried about people dying. The first one to die was one I sort of liked so it was shame to see her die so soon but oh well. I'd probably say the character closest to a "favourite character" would be the bug girl or president. That idol is definitely gonna screw someone over. Probably push that captain into a bug a some point. The ecchi was.....well..............there. I remember seeing some pictures and clips of this and was like "This isnt a hentai is it? Im going to watch an anime right?" XD. But dam that walk segment LMAO! It felt like that was there just to play that track in the background. Its the same with the openning with it being unnecessary long. That moment took me out of the tension I couldnt help facepalming and smiling XD. Thought this would be a oneshot story but they didnt get off the Island and seems to be baiting for a sequel. I personally wouldnt mind more to see whether they get off or not. |

Pretty bad animation especially for a movie. Definitely has a trying to sell the manga type of feel to the care taken with the movie. Was looking forward to the ecchi but it’s eh. There’s a scene where all the women are naked and face the camera and all their bodies are literally how to draw manga 101. The yuri scene was good at least. Bland 101 characters except for Kai who had the creep feel but was generally a cool guy. Just not much to look at with this one honestly unless you want to waste an hour and 16 minutes. |

I dunno this was pretty epic for a b movie. I am really hoping that was the direction they were going for lol The long hallway walk was gold. There were some unresolved plot issues as well as kind of leaving us hanging. Honestly, I would watch a sequel. 🤷♀️ |

Once again, Confusion comes from seeing the mark of the genres show. Like these movie, it should had take into Thriller rather than horror. For the adds-on, this show had a soft amount of ecchi, less adventure and action to survived from the cruel island full of giant insects. So, for the complete genres tag, this show must attach an Ecchi, Adventure, and Action genres. A misunderstanding led people doesn't know the whole movie and do some shit review to the show. Whatever ffs, let me do some routines comment here: However, for this show, i aggree some aspect. Apparently, the movie still unfinished, because there is a true void in the end. It have so much puzzle that still mysterious for the whole main problem. Such as what Kai found in the stock room, a restricted one? And why he doesn't tell that shit to the audience, to me, asap? Then, the scenery in the end must be interesting as hell. Because surely there is still a little amount of survivor among the passanger of the school student. And for the main question, why only that island had a giant insects? Is it because of the research? Or what? No answer. Only a great confusion that appear as a result how the story never got its job done. Yet, too much unfinished parts and the cliffhanger, only make this show get a worst view from the audience. And it just such a shame for the sake of the better movie i show. For the initial point of view, this show had so much potential to give me a satisfaction. The whole dark matter in the beginning, the thriller sounds insertion to the animation make me believe into some high hope on this show. But, its not enough. The animations itself were just bad to see. No good quality appear to consolidate the transition between all the animation. Fortunately, the art was just fine to consider it as a standardization for the anime industry. Not only that, i think the amount of ecchi scenes insertion when the adventure begin is just so click for this story. The art for that scenes really paid more work and attention to get done, rather give the contribution for other being, like the insects, and the landscape backgrounds. Still, only ecchi insertion that give enough strength for this show to survived the boredom. Yet, u don't like it, but when the thrill come to served, its appearance can bring enough cooling down. Nice job with that detail. While the story itself becoming so dull to even call it a story, or rather, the plot. The character here were just so awful to even stands with it. Let say to that lesbian pink haired idol. Her appearance was so annoying, and the contribution for the show really weak, until i think that she appear there just to do the fanservices. Yes. Almost character shown up for the ecchi scenes only. Even that tomboy girl from the softball player served a little when saving the MC and her girlfriend from the miserable bee nests. After that? No more. She only screened when do such a hot ecchi scenes while bathing along with that annoying pink haired idol in the bottom of the moonlight way through the middle of the show. Its just one example, because the others just shove into some kind of perverted performance while the peak reach its end. Such a shame, even the MC had its scenes to served the eye of the audience, while her feeling keep unknown for that glasses woman. What about the guy character here? They are just full of moron. No Shounen shit on this show. Only attached their because the show need to be as realistic as possible. The decision just a gambling. I found nothing special for almost the men character there. Only bald fuckboy in the end, and that Kai bring more shine for the sake of the good movies. However, their personality were just bad, even i called it horrible. Especially with the bald fuckboy. He really deserved the miserable dead. Unfortunately, his appearance seems important to only just bring some little amount of sex scenes, in the background. Just little "Ah-ah" moment with that busty milf body woman while the cooling scenery reach its end. Once again, i dissapointed with that decision, because it comes pretty weak to me. Even the end their had less screen time, to compare with the Kai guy. However, i still proud for the MC here. Not only because her beautiful art and cute face, her lesson about some insects stuff really do a nice impact for the storyline. If you like that kind of think, and love to talk about the insects too, this girls must be good to be your imaginary friend. I guessed thats it for me. To the contrary, even if the show had so much weaknesses over there, and there. It can bring more and less adventurous for me. Thats a great attempt. I really respect that hard works in the first place. I just hope that this show give more time in the future, to improve the whole problem appear on everything. Especially with the bad animations and horrible characterization to the supporting charas. Thats it. Ah, dont forget to keep the ecchi scenes as often as possible. Because only that thing can be a memorable scenery to the show. Only that, whatever other people think about the show, i still give a respect. Heres my complete score toward every section in number: Story: 5, unfinished issue can be a bigger problem on this section. Art: 7 Sounds: 6. No good sounds can attach to my mind. Only some little amount of moan that appear out of nowhere in the middle of the movie that can be classified as a 'great' soundings. Character: 4. Not well-written so far i watch the anime on my life. Such a shame. Enjoyment: 6 Overall goes to 6.88 per 10, looking out all of the previous section. Slightly a 7. But i still cling the show in the 6, because its unnecessary to put the score into 7. Not bad, but not served as a good too for my movies standard. But, yeah, a bit too much for this standard. I keep my wish to bring more story until its end, like any other suck movie out there. Moving out. |

This is one of those animes that make me hate the japanese and anime community. Consuming sexual violence and fanservice together is not healthy and the person who created this should be shot in the head. Sad part is its only gonna get worse. Sometimes i wish the US finished the job during WW2. Oh well, guess i can hope for another corona virus wave to wash away those filthy asians.
