| I felt for Mariya, several hours after birth and she's already an orphan. Mother died from giving birth and father died as a hero by protecting the village. And of course its a superstious grandma that probably prays to spirits at night that started the whole "cursed child" thing, poor Maria, feeling that you are unwanted, not loved from the birth is so painful. Ver is so cute in the flashback and not just her looks, she is so humble, despite being the kid everyone loves she didn't become entitled and spoiled like you'd think so. And i liked how she befriended Maria. I never thought Ray Dawn was from the same village that makes it even more sad. I understand if he was assigned to annihilate fairies as a general, but it was his own idea. But still, i tihnk he must have some reason and it's not just him disliking fairies. But the way he killed his brother though :( and poor brother thought he was the failure. Also that superstitous grandma being under corpses was so brutal... And a nice difference between Ver and Maria that we see. One doesn't care about past or future, she just wants to make him pay and the latter knows past can't be changed, what's done is done. They are both right, can't wait to see what will come out of this. |
| That's a nice come back for a second cour, I would have to give credit where credit is due, of course. This episode restored some faith to the series, for me personally. The first cour had some party-bangers, where the opening and the end songs stood, it looks like this one is following the right tracks, but still not quite there, or maybe it just needs some getting used to. I appreciate the use of dark abstract previews for the next episode, it adds in a lot to the mystery. The CGI improved a little bit, although it is still inexcusable. As if Ray had anything to like about him from what we've seen in the first cour, he is way more of a piece of shit than I thought. |
| Wow, the direction is a mess again. They learned nothing from s1 lol. I thought this was a ok episode. I hope this season makes more sense. |

| We finally got the complete story of what happened at the Suna village from Ray's past to Marlya and Veronica's past. Well I blame that dumb grandma, she basically made Marlya known as the "cursed child" despite the death of both her parents being more of a coincidence than what the spirits wanted |
