I'm really on the edge of dropping this one because I have seriously no idea why the MC is such a whiteknight whiteknighting a Yue clone. what's in it for him to sacrifice this much to the point of his life in potential jeopardy? is he gonna bone her eventually? otherwise this is just fujoshi fantasy of males serving muh lady and suddenly brushing him off once he's done because males are just disposable utility and nother more huh?

otherwise dropping this hard.

I'm more of the opinion of him acting the way he is because he thinks she can change things with power. He revealed himself to be a half breed that lived further out than even the slums. I'm guessing he is saving her so she can be a lifeboat for him eventually since she understands being scorned and will feel indebted to him for helping her.

Just drop it already, this anime is so bad it's painfull to watch, when 70% of the content was cut and rushed.

There is zero explanations shown how badly she was treated (in anime all we saw was her being bullied once and called with weird nickname) when in manga there was ton of stuff which really made you feel bad for her.
Why he abandoned his mission SO FREAKING FAST without really good motive and risking his own life cause of it, and so on and on.
Tournament fight was also shit, since it simply rushed to it. When I've read it in manga which made a lot of buildup for it, I got the so called "chills" when reading it and rooting for Melida to wreck Minerva. In anime I felt NOTHING, there was zero buildup, zero explanations how she got so good out of nowhere in fights, how hard she worked, how Minerva was more of a b... making you want her to get rekt in awesome manner.
They even cut character developments for other heroines like Ellie and Roze(this one especially -> ep3. should have shown that she was always alone and cause of it she never could cooperate in team fight with others, And now what did we saw? they freaking made them teamplay and her questioning this feeling. How the hell is anime watcher supposed to know what she meant there). They even cut dances of Roze/Ellie with him since they were the first ones to dance with him, meaning he warmed up to them a lot.

So as a manga reader, I can srsly say this anime isn't worth watching in it's current form, unless someone like's this kind of anime's where they rush the content focusing only on MC and main heroine abandoning rest of the cast growth and destroying good story, so they can show 1 or 2 fluffy moments between MC's.

My advice is just go read manga, and you will see what I mean, with all this runt of mine about shit adaptation.

It is true that the anime looks quite rushed compared to manga(at this rate anime will be much ahead of manga) but I really appreciate the effort the studio put into the art(unlike arifureta which would have been a big hit otherwise). Long story short manga has a lot of emotional content and some good fight scenes too but anime is no slouch in its own way. I am up to date with manga and I am glad I can see it being adopted into anime.
As for the original question, I think you should be patient with the anime's pace and find it out. It is not even revealed in the manga why he cares about her so much yet.

There is no effort put into it. And I mean it, since even Chief animation director said it herself. So I really have no idea how people rate animations these days, since they like it. Quality drop of this anime is now compared a lot with My Sister My Writer, which was horrendeous.

You may be right about the effort being put by the studios. And I personally rate any anime high if I like it myself. Can't really help it if the art and anime looks pleasing to the eye😅

Why are you asking to Manga readers when its an LN adaption? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

To learn about their relationship, read the comments: https://assassinspride.fandom.com/wiki/Kufa_Vampir

I was wondering the same thing.

This anime is pretty horrible.
There’s something really wrong with it. Jittery motions? Rushed story?

I said that to ask this, is the light novel worth reading?

I have a question too (more like a statement)....:
Does Kufa get to bang Melina?......oh please say YES....
extra credit if he also bangs Angel and her teacher.
