Whats your opinion bout akikan?
| Usually an anime like this is seriously bashed by other users who didn't like it, but actually there is only one bad review, flaged with loads of "Not helpful", AND 4 good reviews that where flaged even more as "Not Helpful". Say, does it get any better from before? Like, i've saw 3 episodes and afters seeing those girls with messed up eyes, i juist couldn't help to drop this... thing. Being aweful like that, and still having a 6.78 medium score sure looks like there something IS wrong Where is the hate? Where is the love? Why the f* would i care? ITZ HATE EDIT TIME!! | No one is flaming this series because the people that started watching in the first place didn't expect much. We knew what we were getting in for. What can you possibly expect from a series who description is exactly what happens in the anime, a can of juice turns into a girl when you drink from it. The series didn't start out good and then progressively get bad. Its the same concept since the beginning. I don't like the series either, but I don't constantly complain about it because it's meeting my expectations of being bad. That's just my perspective on the whole thing. And I always click on not helpful when people write reviews before the anime is finished. If you want to put your two cents in with only a few episodes down, do it in the episode discussion. Review it once it's completed. |

IMO As for the reviews, you probably know that its pretty much normal to send reviews before it compleats airing. |

As for the series, i give it a 5 but yet im still watchin it. its simply a case of watching something a kinda like "car-crash TV". im only watching it cos its so bad. |

| Mhm, this series doesn't get much better or worse after ep. 1. And people bash it because the animation isn't that great and they were expecting an awsome story line in a 12-ep ecchi anime. In my opinion, this series is a 7. It has its funny moments, but all-in-all your left with, Mhm, that was ok. | If you don't like it seriously GTFO LOL. There are plenty of people that do and we are entitled to discuss the series without having boring and generalized insults thrown at the genre of this show. You can't come up with anything that actually detracts from how entertaining the show is. It is funny. It is fun. It is warped romantic. You cannot disprove any of these because it's kind of fact tbh. Unless you are a prude and aren't into this kind of humor. I had the best rated review until the server crash and I am fucking ticked off about it too. |

| Actually the main objective of this thread was to know if it does get better in the end. I did go berserk cause i was kind of amazed on how could this anime pass on QC. I saw the manga and i need to say it was much better then the anime. (Too bad it didn't had Kakeru's monologue with the can seller machine. That sure was simply genius.) Swiftstylez said: You see. For someone who laught his ass off at Inukami (Thats me), watching this teorically would be a walk in the park, since both share almost the main type of jokes... And characters... And plot. Lmao. | The shows kinda horrible, I mean Daichi is an ass 95% of each episode. The cans are having owner complex problems. Najimi can't seem to shake the lesbo witch, nor get Daichi to stop treating her like a dog with all the head pats. But for some reason I can't stop watching the show... |
| Validated opinions except the one about the score. Most people who never watch anime of this genre watched like half an episode or an episode and then probably rated it badly. Look at Pokemon's score FFS. When you think about it, close to a 7 isn't that bad to be honest. It's only because a lot of people saw this in the season line up and thought they would just stroll in to trash it. Without these people and if it is just rated by the fans of the genre, it would be up one more point and somewhere closer to eight. This I am sure of. |

| I say, everything here is perfectly fine: - the main character is not a looser with dozen of girls around who suddenly fell for him - just because of this "merit". In fact Kakeru presents us a healthy dose of his mean side in every episode (especially towards Melon) - that being said, this anime more or less comedy but not typical harem comedy which is big plus - seeing Najimi drunk (because of carbonated drink... yeah suuure) - priceless - yuri subtexts with Mamiko... pardon, Yell and Najimi have general stamp of approval In summary, this series is not a masterpiece but is fun to watch, especially without having extra high expectations. Why should I drop it - only because of worse art quality and bunch of anons fapping to every news sankakucomplex produces? |

| animation is ugly as sin, but its a fairly unique harem comedy. Main character is just an asshole and he gets away with it. the only part i dont like about the series is when they focus on the story instead of the comedy... this offers some solid WTF and :facepalm: moments that you wont find anywhere else |
| I think this anime is somewhat random. The plot and genre change after each episode like romantic comedy into a shonen style battle (compare e.g. episode 10 and 11), also the animation style. There are way too many stereotypes here. Maybe it's a parody? (Melon's Melo Melo Melon looks just like a Kamehameha) This is so bad that it's good. |

I like the show. I admit that when I first heard about the show I thought that the writers had to have been very desperate to make a anime about cans that turn into girls, were they high when they decided to make this show, was this some sort of bet or dare? But I figure hey I'll give the show a chance, after all it would be cook in real life if you can sip on a can of Pepsi, Coors, Budweiser or Jim Beam and Cola and it turn into a hot looking chick. |
| Yep, the only thing that was wrong is that it hasn't scored higher. I'm thinking a conspiracy... someone rigged the votes. Because whilst it does have it's haters, there are a lot of people that like it. |

| You do realize the score system is a bit screwy on MAL. Anything that has a 7 or below tends to be bad IMO. 7 to 7.6 varies may be bad or good. 7.7 and above I tend to like. |
