| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Aww~ such a sweet chapter~ I love it when Chihayafuru enters the mood of sharing bond between members of the family! The bonus of the chapter was definitely Chihaya getting Arata's warmth across her through his hand! Those flowers blooming around her changing her entire emotion was so lovely! Also, those Arata hugs! HHNNGG~ If I ever become a parent, I would like to have a boy like Arata! <3 And I really hope Tsukue-kun and Kana-chan's effort with those audio files from the past comes to assist Chihaya in the actual game as it has been foreshadowed! While the sleeping faces were adorable, I could not help but giggle at the awaken faces of those two girls! Tomorrow will be important for them as well, so they are not gonna get an ounce of sleep! <3 Also, the highlight of the chapter was Chihaya mistakingly seeing Taichi amongst the people paying their respect in the shrine! That warm smile of Taichi~ So precious! That was bittersweet! How far Chihaya has actually come from the time when Mizusawa first bowed in front of Omi Jingu as it swelled up Chihaya's eyes! T_T Made me a tad emotional at that moment! This manga sure knows how to hit my weakest spots! And I love it! Absolutely! T_T We are now battle ready! Next chapter couldn't come soon enough. 5/5 |

| As much as I dislike Arata, the fact that he wanted to hug Chihaya and that he hugged his mom instead was adorable as well as relatable. That Taichi panel both made me happy and broke my heart for several reasons. Next chapters we'll probably begin with the finals. |

She tells them that until she gets strong in karuta, she has no right to even sit across the person she may like. Earlier in the chapter, Chihaya thinks about how she wants to become a person who can respond to that kind of passion-the passion belonging to Arata. Now in the latest chapter, Arata has that "I want to become a person for who it's okay to embrace her" line. It's like they're both trying to become people worthy of each other. |

I'm not sure if they are, but wouldn't Chihaya and Taichi be the challengers since Shinobu is the current title holder? Arata's positioning in that spread doesn't add up since Suo is the current holder, but earlier in the chapter Chihaya says that she can't accept a person like that as the Meiji-that person being Suo, so she might of just replaced him (in her mind) on her own lmao. |

| @possession1981: Yeah, possibly, lol. It also should connect to the fact that Chihaya desired for Arata to dethrone him and Arata shall do that. I am super pumped for the final. Just thinking that the two of them consider each other their hero will be inspiring each other to victory gives me goosebumps! OT: Suou and Souya are so similar it is really striking. Although Souya's presence is much more mysterious, profound and captivating, I find Suou much more interesting and fun for his stupidity here and there. |

I'm also very excited for the upcoming chapters-I've been waiting years for Arata and Chihaya to make their childhood dreams come true! I feel a bit of sad as well since I don't see the manga going on for much longer after the matches are done with, but all good things must come to an end. Plus I'd rather the series reach its natural conclusion instead of unnecessary milking. OT: Suou and Souya are so similar it is really striking. Although Souya's presence is much more mysterious, profound and captivating, I find Suou much more interesting and fun for his stupidity here and there. I definitely see what you mean, but Souya reminds me a bit more of Arata actually-with the whole glasses and prodigy thing going on. Of course Arata is more clumsy and open, but if he had never befriended Chihaya and Taichi then I feel that he could have had the lone-wolf feel to him as well. Maybe I'll re-read a few Suou scenes now. |

| Love this chapter, so golden like Arata: Finally a new footage of Chihaya x Arata that unlocks their affections once again to the story: SO SWEET, ARATA DESIRES TO EMBRACE CHIHAYA, I REALLY DESIRE TO SEE THAT SO VERY MUCH <3: OH YES Suetsugu-sesnsei bring us more the excitement for the next chapter to come, THIS SHIPPER IS SO READY FOR MORE!!!!!!
