So someone finally translated the last chapter. Eh, this was a rather pointless continuation. It was exactly bad, but it didn't bring all that much to the already concluded story.

I kinda agree with the top review for this one. This was rather a pointless sequel which could just have been used to explore what happened on the adult lives of the characters. This just showed how Aya and Satsuki could not be able to move on from Manaka after all with the introduction of this Manaka 2.0.

I know that these girls deserve a good, happy ending at least but I would rather want to read a continuation of Manaka and Nishino's reunion instead of this.

I recomented aya with manaka
nishino with oukusa(football player)
tatsuki with amachi

I see the ending the same way as when Nishino was going to France to study pastry and Manaka was focusing on bettering himself.

I'd like to think that Namaka will focus on becoming a famous writer himself before reuniting with Toujou as Namaka, not a shadow of Manaka.

Keep in mind that both Toujou and Satsuki seem to have moved on from Manaka in the final chapter of the original manga after the time skip.

nope Nishino with Manaka is the best couple
i prefer Toujou with Amaachi

Actually, this story is more of a "mid sequel", since Aya is still attending university and struggling with her novel. Misuzu has not got a boyfriend yet in this story. In the final chapter of the original story, about 5 years have passed and Aya has already won a big award, so the "mid sequel" is pretty pointless since it adds nothing new.

Judging from their reactions in the final chapter, Satsuki and Aya still have some affection for Manaka, but the good thing is that they do not let these feelings dominate their current lives. Satsuki has a better chance to move on. Her relationship with Manaka is close, but not that deep as Aya. For Aya, if I were her, I would find it extremely hard to forget someone that changes your world. At this point, it's really really complicated to solve her story.

Instead of finding the right man for Aya, I think the author should write a true sequel where Junpei and Aya are making their promised movie together with the support of the whole gang, and both of them receive some big award for that movie. After all, both of them are soulmates to each other, though Nishino is clearly the end girl.

more of the same story didnt really have much of a point to it it, mainly just read it to read everything from the mangaka. this was a 4/10 for me same great art but m,ore of the not as impressive story
