| Goemon can be seen uncharacteristically listening to something on a portable tape-player in one scene. It's very reminiscent of his descendent (Goemon XVIII?) in the aborted Lupin VIII series from 1982. |

And at last Lupin gets some love, hypnotized Fujiko won't be able to run away or find her way out as she usually does now. And I just now realized that young lady in the beginning was actually the old lady who hypnotized Lupin I can already tell the next episode should be interesting from the preview. There will be some vivid characters |

In which Lupin becomes entangled in a bet between Fujiko and an elderly billionaire and her momma's boy son. Yeah, I had it figured out right away that Lupin hypnotized the son into thinking he was him and switched places, but Zenigata being Jigen fooled me. And here I was about to post about how I wasn't sure if Zenigata would actually go along with executing Lupin too. That bedroom scene with Fujiko also becomes a bit different knowing it was Lupin all along. Well it may or not be due to the hypnotism, but it was nice to see Fujiko shed tears for Lupin's well being once again. It's such a once in a blue moon occurrence after all.  |
| Wasn't Lupin always sentenced to death sentence? Early part 1 episode have it, Lupin got death sentence but escape before it happened Jigen's acting as Zenigata is amazing xD I mean Fujiko used hypnotize on Lupin, why can't Lupin do it too? :P |
