| I feel Mukuro's willfulness is something called cute but frightening. : ) Its been a while since Shidou conquer a date without full helping hand from the girls. Here we see the non-aggressive Origami and the Tohka inverse again. . . and it seems the the inverse version are the original spirits created via the sephirah crystals. But with line of it, I don't remember Origami's first transformation to be inverse, why so? And the best thing is the foreshadowing in the epilouge. |

| Mukuro is so nice girl. I enjoyed the story. Cannot wait for the next volume, it's hard to tell what Kurumi gonna do. |
| Quite alot I liked on this volume, for me the best since vol11. Last volume had alot of built for Muku x Shidou, but I also liked seeing that Origami fight!  She reached new levels of BADASS combining her spirit powers with CR unit. Looking like Athena godness right there! <3 Muku was the star of the volume, and I think she is one of the most enjoyable addictions to the harem, her speech makes her hard to understand sometimes , hearing her calling "Nushi-sama" to Shidou all the time makes her seem like she belongs to the Edo era, but also makes her a rather charming one, and really eager to some skinship with Shidou! I cracked alot when she talked about her relationship with him as in "flesh slave", for such an ojou-sama she can be quite daring. Origami was great there again, she was the only one due to her nature (two personalities) that was able to reach to Shidou, if it wasnt for her... and I think she used a bit of her Inverted form too, since Inverted Tohka mentionated she was feeling similiar wavelengths from her. Talking about Tohka, she loves Shidou to the point she inverted when she realized that "someone" who meant the most for her was gone just like that... Inv Tohka could as well make more appearences in the future, despite her crude and violent nature, it did provide some rather interesting moments (specially when she was trying to fed Shidou, Origami sure was very persuasive!). But my highlight for her is the reveal she made and that we can actually see that she does understand what is going on, and cares for her other self (normal Tohka), to the point she warned Shidou to not make Tohka this sad again... well if he does miss Demon King will be ready to deliver that punishment. Not much emphasis was giving but I do think that scene is really meaningfull and will have repercutions in the future. Also, there was quite some gore in the end, Shidou's shoulder suffering from Muku's material desintegration.... O.O (it sucked we couldnt she Mukuro's inverted form pic, she was looking already great with her awakened battle dress mode)  That really made for a great conclusion itself, what a sweet scene with Mukuro to bring a really fulfilling conclusion to her arc, and letting us know she still has some plans for that Shidou shipping, aside the hair trimming. Mukuro's Family, the name of the volume and really got me good with this scene. Made me feel really fuzzy there~~ And as if it was enough, Kurumi in the end, hitting for the next arc, which was something I really hyped when I started reading the series after so long, Kurumi's Refrain, HYPE!! Surely one of the best DAL volumes till date, hope the next one keeps the trend. |

Especially in volume 18. No lie, volume 16 is probably the best part of the series so far, it is insane that the author actually risen from the mediocrity that was mostly the plot from time to time, to actually deliver something like he is trying to with the next arcs. By far this series does deserve more love here on MAL. |
