To resume your answer, yes and no, she is not the ONLY centered character, it's more about Kazuma and Megumin's relashionship with one another, Megumin's family, friends and acquaintances, the Crimson Magic Clan and the village overall, and some Yunyun in the mix too.

But yeah, what I said is not that they will straight up cut the Megumin X Trashzuma part, but that they'll probably reduce the plot and character development, and I can feel their relationship will be pretty, let's say, "flat", since in the anime adaptations, at least until now, the plot and characters are pretty empty and only used as a "joke device", and they cut most character and plot development, so that's what I meant. ^^

Also, I didn't understand what you meant about how the characters looks like, what exactly do you mean?
