After I played the visual novel I can see that there are much things that are cut-off and some changes too. Too bad, but in the end the anime it's not so bad in my opinion. The ending, especially, it's very well done, even if it doesn't conclude the story that follows up and closes the anime with the movie Chaos;Child Silent Sky (that is also the true ending name of the visual novel). It could be all way better, but it's awesome to know that there is an anime about this awesome story.

I give this anime a 10/10 as I found it interesting, and that hook, I feel like is the significant part as a viewer. Plot, setting, blah blah blah, those are for the critics to decide. Good and bad tend to mean interesting and boring. Since that is statistically the case here, this anime was phenomenal, in my opinion, as I find anything complex or gets my brain moving to be splendid. But, what do I have to say? A majority of brains are basically the sole embodiment of Occam's Razor and geniuses like me (1 in 400, examples include Einstein, Descartes, Jefferson, etc) tend to overthink, and in theory will understand this more than others. So I can see why people just sleep on this as anyone else would look at a Rubic's cube and walk away. Also, said geniuses find an interest in these sorts of things, as the role model of Hikam's Dictum.

For those who did understand the plot, here's a quick recap:

- Child Takuru created Serika using his ability.
- Takuru, as a child, wished for another "Generation Madness" case, so he solves it and becomes a hero like Takumi, so he orders Serika to murder people when he grows up and then solves the mystery of the killings.
- Child Takuru then suffers from amnesia, but Serika proceeds with the plan anyway (which was actually according to Child Takuru's plan).
- Takuru turns 18, and Serika begins killing people, despite Takuru is now against killing. Seika doesn't stop, because killing was her primary purpose in life and what she was born to do, if she stops then her existence will "become meaningless".
- Takuru discovers that Serika was the murderer, he hates her and tells her to stop. Serika refuses because she wants to fulfill Takuru's former wish - because she also despises "stupid normal people" as much as young Takuru did, and also because carrying out the plan keeps her alive.
- Takuru causes Serika to have amnesia, Seika cries because she doesn't want to live with amnesia, he ignores her begging and causes amnesia anyway, then he confesses to being the person responsible for the "New Generation Madness" and turns himself in to the police.

Meh

As often in anime end is rushed and confusing.

But at least here all questions were answered, villain was killed and story is finished.

I like the plot twist that
It was really interesting idea.

The villain is... uninteresting and boring. Just some kind of ugly bastard. But its cool that Takuru really killed him, and not (as often in such animes) spared him, like "we cant kill people".

Takuru acted cool and did not blame Serika (and thats fair because he was the first culprit). He give Serika a hug and surrendered to the police. Cool.

I think end of the story was revealed better in VN, but i have a feeling that end in Chaos Child is as bad as end in Chaos Head - i played Chaos Head VN and in the end
