What's this anime? Why is so beautiful?

The hell?
Whats going on here?

The animation is top tier, even the background characters are animated.
The episode one when Grea is waiting spinning the card was so beautiful that almost brought a tear.

The episode 4 was like FROM A FREAKING MOVIE?
Leafs, even the rain drops was fully animated.

The budget of this anime is CRAZY! It's like Fate throwing money at your screen, but with a beautiful theme instead.

There is no OP nor ED! This is brilliant!
The anime looks like short with 14min~, but without OP and ED is like an average episode.

I'm impressed, and loving it!

I'm glad to see someone else is also highly enjoying this anime! I feel like this anime is getting overshadowed by other more known shows and what people are talking about.

I mean, even that this is connected to Shingeki no Bahamut universe literally anyone could enjoy this as is.

That aside, I'm a fan of set universe but came with no expectations to this anime after hearing that this was supposedly made to promote a mobile game. But boy was I in for a ride.

Every episode feels like a short movie which stops time for a while. Literally after an episode is finished I just sit there for a while and in awestruck by the immens atmosphere.

In conclusion this has been one of my most looked forward moments in a week where i sit down and watch episode of this wonderful anime and unwind from all the stress!

Same for me. I just wish it had more depth to it. Every episode is so enjoyable.

I can think of a few reason why:

1:This is cygamespicture first anime, so they want to show off thier work.

2: Cygames have alot of money. Thier game might not always be the top grossing in japan but they have like 3 game in the top 10

3: they know they will make the money back. The bonus for vol 1 BD is 1 sunstone in gbf, vol 2 is a damas bar and both get you a gold bar. All of them are some of the rarest item in GBF and getting all 3 for 160$ is actually a pretry good deal.

I tryed watching Shingeki no Bahamut is was garbage dropped it first eps

I’m glad I don’t have to force my myself to watch bahamut to enjoy Manaria Friends

It's such a chill show. Yeah it is Yuribait, and yeah at the end of the show nothing will have changed most likely. But heck is it enjoyable and relaxing. Beautiful animation, music, backgrounds. Perfect to watch on a sunday night.

Oh and I really like dragon girls

Personally i really enjoy this anime. The plot is very simple but they make it so beautiful. Also, this is the first time i watch slow motion lips in anime xD the song in eps 8 so beautiful!
