| So we are now in the "imginator" arc |
| My main observation about this anime, is that I understand what’s going on, from episode to episode... But, I’m failing as yet to see the point of it all. I mean, I get what it’s set up thus far, and the overall idea of it being kind of a cat and mouse chase, of sorts. And, maybe it’s just the fact that it’s taking its time and meandering, that’s just not jiving with me. But, I find myself wishing it would get to whatever it’s slowly trying to get to, already. |

| Please tell me I'm not the only one that had to replay the scene with Asukai and that girl because when I saw him staring at her chest and going on about buds I thought he meant her small tits. Second time around I understood he was talking about a flower in her heart. Why didn't they show what he actually did with this ability? Is it just lazy animating? Did he rip out the roses? Prune them? Slice them up? Make them whole? Smudy said: I don't know if i would call Asukai very amibitious or just straight delusional about helping people BEFORE Imaginator appeared. I already thought that he was a very weird dude. He seemed to have a god complex in my eyes. Then a girl who just fell into deep shit even after Asukai tried to help her completely made him go crazy. His beliefs were totally thrown under the bus there. As soon as he saw the possibility of being a god, he took it after he saw this shit. Now he's literally Light Yagami, using unjust methods to ''protect''. To me he doesn't seem like he hates people but rather hates himself because he couldn't help them. He is merely disillusioned. If he hated people he would never try to help them and wouldn't have been so shocked and disgusted by what the Imaginator showed him. He's not like Light because Light is for a twisted justice and power but this Asukai Jin just wants to help people and his idea of help has become warped. The people he harms he's trying to save. At least that's what it seemed to me. I mean clearly you don't want to bring happiness to people you think are bad would you? Being that he sees that everyone is flawed they all are same to him more or less and takes pity on them all. |

| Oooohhhhh boy I'm feeling this ark much more than the first one. I think I have the gist of the characters involved here and their powers... except for Boogiepop itself, like, I could use her on screen more actually doing something for more than 5 seconds after appearing out of nowhere or saying things that I'll never figure out without reviewing and analyzing her dialogue. |

| That was a roller coaster. I'm into this arc much more than the last after this first episode anyway. I hope they give it the time it needs. This was really interesting nevertheless. Asukai-sensei is a pretty interesting character. I was not expecting the ending where he has been possessed (maybe ?) by the imaginator character. It's weird since when all those girls were possessed their voices changed to match. Not even sure what this imaginator character is. There was something bad about the girl who Boogiepop kiiled and then her spirit or some shit stuck around as the imaginator. Not sure, especially since she has been referring to herself as some kinda possible future or whatever. Seems like it's gonna take a few arcs before we really know who the recurring main characters will be -besides Boogiepop obviously. |

Hokkage said: why's that a bad thing I like the confusion, not being spoonfed everything once in a while, why does every anime need every char super fleshed out with char development, it appears to be working off small arcs of 3 eps if it follows the pattern, if this isn't your type of anime then fair enough you should drop it and watch something you actually enjoy :DIt's boring as fuck, the 'plot', tries to use the confusion as bait, but the thing is that right now the char development is inexistent. I don't wanna drop it, but shit, it's hard. |

| New-arc. Hope we get to see more of boogiepop this arc-- just love the seiyyu for her so freakin awesome with that smug voice. As for the ep sets up nicely for the coming events....that dialogue between boogiepop and imaginator was lit. |

| Boogiepop was talking with someone called Imaginator (like an entity) in a bridge. A guy named Asukai works as a councilor at a school, he has the ability to see people's soul as a rose, that sometimes is incomplete (depends in each person). He had an encounter with Imaginator in the street. He returned home, his neighbor gave him dinner and Imaginator possessed her, she revealed him that he has sort of an ability to change people (as I could understand). When Asukai was in the street, he encountered an ex-student in problems with drugs, Imaginator possessed her, talked with Asukai and killed herself, Asukai had to go to the police station to testify about what happened. Asukai saved two kids from a group of vandals and used his power against them. Boogiepop encountered a girl named Komiya in a rooftop, trying to kill herself, she was friend of another girl named Suiko (Imaginator when she was alive), Suiko killed herself (and for what Boogiepop says, she killed Suiko), finally Komiya didn't jump. I hate the massive character introductions that this show makes, every character has a name and physical similar to the others, they call they sometimes by their name and sometimes by their last name. You don't know if is a new character or if you should remember him/her from previous episode. It's starting a new arc against an entity called Imaginator, somehow when Suiko died, she didn't leave and stayed as Imaginator. This guy, Asukai, has an ability whos limits are unknown and he has delusions of greatness. |

| Well this episode had far better art than the others, congrats to se jun kim as he was the animation director for this episode and it very much shows. Again some things were skipped but it was in my opinion one of the finest episodes in terms of adaption, so that quite fine. Sensei is honestly a pretty interesting character too, even though his change of personality is certainly out of the blue. The direction was more straightforward this episode too which is appreciated, strangely is it was directed by Asmi Kawano which just kinda appears very rarely in madhouse shows when there are production problems. |
| The druggie girl, Imazaki, actually looked really horrible. Good art direction. Seems a lot of shows won't go that far when it's needed. Kotoe said Jin worries too much about others and then he's shown thinking Imazaki had a grudge against him because his counselling sessions in a cram school didn't stop her becoming a druggie! He really does worry too much about other people, or put another way, thinks he has more control over other people or the world around him than he actually does.
