DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This anime has become my favorite this season! <3 I've never seen anything more beautiful! Characters, scenery... everything is just breathtaking! Such a pleasure to watch it! So relaxing! And Chinese turned out to be surprisingly attractive. I used to be quite skeptical about non-Japanese anime. |
| Totally agree, the characters are great! These flashbacks have been much more in depth than I thought and it'll be all the more meaningful once we go back to the present time of our main characters. With the flashbacks it makes you wonder what happened to these two brother-like characters, Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng - for them to become so distant in the present. I think it's been a sad journey for our characters so going back to the present will be hard. The scenery is honestly like a work of art too. |

| I can't wait until we learn what exactly happened to wwx that he became 'the embodiment of all things evil' like people in the present are always saying. Expect more tragedy angst! My favorite kind of things <3 The OP and ED songs tho... such tearjerker (if you've read the novel). |

| Poor Jiang Chang it’s obvious he is hurt by what he sees his father’s favoritism towards wuxian ( think he’s compensating for the fact that he’s an orphan). Also yanli is a goddess and Jin Zixuan is blind, waiting for him to realize, and swallow his words and purse her. Jiang cheng’s parents have little love but there is love all the same. |
