A large forest that once held the tower that dashed all hope of victory. Now, all that remains is the granite ruins of the ancient war. Thick dense foliage provide lots of cover, and the wildlife roams aimlessly, going about their business. Various ponds can be found, containing fish. Herbs are commonplace in the forest, and so are small villages or huts, belonging to people who chose to live away from the society. Locations: |

Enters Area Verel Verel pranced through the woods, grinning while slyly scanning the surroundings for creatures and beasts. His sword was sheathed and he had no intention of killing anything that may serve him. However nonetheless V remained wary of his back and whee he placed his feet, keeping close to the trunks of trees. |

He would find an abundance of deer, birds, a few lizards, a seemingly endless amount of bugs, and a freakishly huge spider web in his first hour of searching. The spider webs are long, tight, and silvery with the morning dew still fresh on it this late in the evening, He could stop to investigate it, or continue searching. |

Verel Verel decided against tampering with the spider's web. Although he could be radical at times, in this case he had neither motive nor curiosity to pursue such an object. Verel listened to the birds and their speech patterns, then when the opportunity arose he called out to one that had landed on a branch: "Hello, I have a few questions I'd like to ask you." |

Verel Verel smiled kindly at the bird and said: "I'm looking to form a team of inhumans and creatures of the natural world, and I heard ghouls had roamed these lands. Do you know of any other creatures that roam the forest? I would like to have contacted the ghouls first, however it is possible they would simply attempt to kill me on sight." While speaking still with the bird, Verel used Dark Inheritance to see if anyone useful would appear. |

The Hound appeared at his feet, and the bird stared for a moment. “The talker wants inhumans, is that so! Interesting, interesting! Hm... Lets see... The Red Spider, the box full of dead things, the rock circle, the snake den, aaand... the sister ghouls.” It knew other stuff, but it simply had decided to name some off the top of its head. And while Verel asked for creatures, the bird listed a few places as well. Places of note. |

Verel Verel pondered which creature would be more open to conversation, and decided to first make contact with the rock circle. The spider and ghouls he decided to approach only once he had gained some support. "Thank you for your answers calm one, would you mind showing me the direction to the rock circle?" |

Verel Verel commanded Dog to dig up some worms and bring them to him. Once acquired, Verel said to the bird: "Here I'll feed you these as payment, if you could lead the way to where you wish to direct me." Dog chuckled and scratched at the ground, swiveling his head every so often to look for signs of assailants. Verel commanded Dog to follow, he couldn't have his asset run off and cause trouble yet. |

Fortunately, the ground was moist and loose, and worms were plentiful in the earth. Digging them up posed no issue. The bird accepted the free and quite easy meal. Enjoyed it too, as it is a unique an$ likely singular opportunity. ”Oh, Talker needs a guide? No direction? Hm, this way!” The bird flew in the direction towards your right, and didn’t check behind it. Following it would prove to be a bit of a pain struggle. But through thistle and weed you prevailed, and stand before the granite ruin of the dark lords fortress. Verel has departed to the Ruins of Vern Octos. |

Celcei Celcei stepped slowly through the Serva forest. She dug up more insects to eat and slumped down on a tree trunk. Ahh, how listless I have become. I swear I’ll destroy Urabas whether I live or die. Cel’s Vile eyes stared straight forward, motionless as stone. Suddenly, a rock hit her square on her head, knocking her into a semiunconcious state. Cel could barely hear it, but from the distance came sprinting a four legged creature. Soon her hand was being pressured into the jaws of the creature, and she could feel herself being dragged. |

Enters Area Verel As Verel followed Bird to the next candidate he heard a rustling in the foliage to the left of him. Dog was dragging Cel’s unconcious body through the brush, which had snagged onto her armor. V asked Bird to wait a moment, proceeding to cut out the brush and command Dog to standby. An unexpected surprise, but very well. He picked her up, carrying her over his shoulder, and asked Bird to continue towards the spider. Celcei Celcei awoke abruptly from smashing her face into her knees. She was elevated, and she could tell something was carrying her. Immediately she reached for her knived stake, but her hand was caught. V: “Now now, dont be so hasty.” She was set down onto a log rather clumsily, but she managed to keep her balance. Celcei recognized the voice and said emotionlessly, “I thought you died.” Verel spat on the ground next to her and responded coldly: “I thought you died too, is your Heartseeker still active?” Cel had forgot about Heartseeker as she had no need for it the majority of her lifetime. She gave no answer, her face remaining expressionless. V: “Thats enough of an answer for me. Stand, we are collecting information.” Cel activated Heartseeker, the crimson metal seeped out of her pores quickly and quietly, hardening into the form of a helmet. It was broken, but provided semi-decent imagery of her surroundings, albeit entirely gray scaled. As she and her brother followed Bird, Cel scanned the surrounding area. Every now and then the helmet would show static where there should have been trees, however hearts were still visible despite this. |

Rohan Azuron Compression Blast: 5/5 - 0/3 Psiblade: 2/2 - 0/2 Rohan was very grateful with the fact that his way out of the desert was more manageable than his way in. Without much delay, he was back in the forest. After a while, however, the lack of proper rest caught up with him. Luckily enough for him a creek was nearby. A quick walk later, he knelt down next to the creek and drank a lot of water, he left the cup with Suzanne, so he was rather thirsty. Once he quenched his thirst, he sat right next to the quiet creek, admiring the greenery all around him in silence. At some point, he heard what sounded like a conversation, but for now, he wanted a little more rest. In order to do that, he just tried to focus on hearing if it was indeed two people talking for now. Another question popped into his mind as he was listening "...Since when do I have this collar?" Rohan inspected his new finding, confused with his origin. Soon after, he felt Kalam, out of everyone, thinking of a name over and over again. "Arachne?... That sounds familiar... I wonder why..." |

Verel has been cursed. Examination is required to determine its effects. The bird led him to a deep cave, as Verel had requested of him, and if we began to go down, he would note the loud sound of skittering.lots of skittering. There were more than one spider here.Sounds like a lot more. Rohan had relaxed by a river. Forgetting perhaps for a minute the world around him. This didn’t last however. As two pale blue eyes appeared in the woods where he gazed. But just the eyes. And not human eyes. The pure, pale glowing eyes of a monster. Then came the sound of rattling metal. Like chains, or otherwise. The next thing to become visible was a lantern that stayed in the breeze, creating that jingle of ominous energy. Burning with a blue fire. Rapid unintelligible whispers began emanating from all around you as the mummified visage of a strange Spectre appeared before you. Clad in grey torn robes, gliding above the ground towards you with eerie slowness, and should it get close. It raised its arm, struggling to do so as if reaching for you in anticipation. This wraith might have followed you from Eru. It doesn’t appear to be armed, but such trickery shouldn’t be doubted from a wraith. |

Verel Verel didn't notice the previous candidate's actions, and continued to follow Bird into the cave. Arachnid type creatures were only seen on Virillia as enormous beasts, later enslaved and kept by the Deathless lords as Titans to guard their castles. Although considered to be of lower intelligence by the factions, fighting them still required a solid assault unit with little to no flaws in strategy. "V-01, wait at the cave entrance with Dog. I will conduct my exploration and then return shortly, do not wander as you had before. Here, take this, it is better if I don't appear hostile in any regard." Verel handed Cel his sword, knowing the risk yet believing in negotiation. Even if I had it with me, their numbers would overtake me before I could fight anyways. Despite his speculations, he wasn't afraid, for death was only a matter of time in his mind. As they went deeper he listened for the voices of the arachnids, once he could discern their language he held his tongue in wait for when words would become necessary. Celcei Celcei followed Dog back up to the cave entrance in obedience. Both she and her brother were always cold and cordial with one another, it made them effective soldiers. While Cel waited, she looked down at her knife-stake with Heartseeker, correcting the errors she had made while bumbling around foolishly by using Verel's sword to sharpen the tool. |

Rohan Azuron Status: Confused, wary Compression Blast: 5/5 - 0/3 Psiblade: 2/2 - 0/2 Rohan slowly started to focus more and more on the necklace of his. As much as he tried to remember, he had no idea of how, when or where he got it from... Yet it was there, hanging from his neck. What confused him the most, was the fact he didn't even remember putting it on. It was like it just suddenly appeared there. His pondering quickly got interrupted by a sudden change in his surroundings, as he suddenly felt uneasy. Rohan didn't have to look around much to find the reason, as a ghostly entity manifested before him. As an instinctive response, Rohan stood up and backed away from the reach of the ghost. "...I haven't practiced in a while, but I should still able to do it... Right?" Rohan raised his hand and aimed it at the spirit's chest, while two baseball sized rocks from the sides of the creek and moved over to behind the spirit and slightly to its sides, out of the sight of the spirit, based on where its eyes were at least. With that distraction to flee/preparation to attack ready, Rohan said "Hey, I'm sorry if I disturbed your resting place, I want no trouble." Rohan had no clue on how to deal with this, since his instinct was just telling him to be wary, but that was oddly unspecific, so he hoped it would make its mind sooner rather than later. |

As Verel made it to the deep chamber, the only light were two large glowing blue eyes. “Well then, this is an interesting development...” The creatures words were obviously female, and they were in the humans language. Sadly, you couldn’t see the creature to determine what exactly it was. As Rohan tried to communicate to the strange spectre, he would find it didn’t respond to him at all and just continued it’s slow and steady approach towards him. The phantom didn’t seem interested in your words. |

Verel Verel paused a moment and allowed Bird to leave and join Cel should it wish to. He called out to the creature unknowing if arachnids had only a single pair of eyes on Earth: “Good afternoon, I come in peace. My name is Vel, what may I call you?” After he recieved an answer he would continue, “I am looking to create a small alliance. If you dont mind me asking, do you partake in the consumption of humanoid creatures?” Celcei Celcei soon became tired of waiting. Cel sheathed Verel’s sword and began to walk around, not wandering too far from the cave entrance. She scanned the surrounding area for hearts of interest and useful items. |

Rohan Azuron Status: Battle ready Compression Blast: 4/5 - 0/3 Psiblade: 2/2 - 0/2 Since his gut showed fear and a lot of sadness towards the creature, Rohan continued walking backwards. Seeing as the creature had no intention of leaving, or at least explaining itself, Rohan decided to go for the offensive, giving it an ultimatum beforehand though "Keep going and I'm attacking you". Seeing as there was no talking again, Rohan kept his word. The rocks blasted from behind on an "X" pattern, hitting, if possible, the back of the spirit. While the rocks headed for it, Rohan clenched his fist and aimed it at the spirit's chest before shooting a basketball-sized Compression Blast, balancing strength and size a little. |

The bird had never followed you into the hole and stayed up above at the entrance. The Spider thought about what answer it should give you. “You will call me... Allison...” The spiders around you all seemed to be laughing with their feet. “No I do not... Any creature whom values their life will not prey upon the humanoids... or Heteromorphs, or Mechanicas... Or Other Polymorphous brings that walk their cities... Kill one and many more come for you... then they restrain you... then the blue woman rips out your soul! I’ve seen it happen!” She thought questionably for a bit. Considering his proposal. “It takes a wise man, or a mad man to suggest an alliance with the Brood of the Red Spider... But to make such a request the benefit must be mutual... What will I, and more importantly my beautiful children get out of it?” Rohan’s attacks passed through the creature. The rocks hit each other and shattered. And the concussive blast, which would have done impact damage, also did nothing. While sorely disappointing and truly discouraging, it did provide you with an important detail. The Specter is completely incorporeal. The rocks didn’t even distort its image neither did the compression blast. It had no physical form and therefore physical means could not harm it. It’s body is likely just a intentional refraction of light. A photographic image Imprinted onto the world in real time. Despite this new knowledge, the complete failure of both attacks has done literally nothing to stall the creature. It’s still creeping forward. You can Her the whispering of a thousand voices as it gets close. |

Verel Verel thought for a moment and then continued, “No, no. If you do not consume humanoids then I do not yet have much of a role for you. However, I would still request an alliance, my aim is to unite entities such as yourselves to form a strong group. As to what your family has to gain, all I can offer you is a promise: that I will assist in the removal of the human race, humanoids, and their cities, who fear and exterminate beings of the land (such as yourselves) on whim. I can only give a promise, but it is one that will be the beginning in resetting this planet to its natural glory.” Remembering the words of the vagrant rock dweller Verel added, “If you can accept such an ultimatum, then further details of how we shall achieve such a task I will provide upon your answer.” |

Rohan Azuron Status: Exhausted Compression Blast: 4/5 - 1/3 Psiblade: 2/2 - 0/2 Confusion struck Rohan once again, as he attacked the incorporeal being unsuccessfully. For a moment, Rohan considered a psychic attack, but then he remembered that was something that took him more time to learn, and he just got his powers back "Now what the hell do I do..." Rohan continued to keep the distance from the spirit, frustrated. Knowing that he couldn't touch the spirit, Rohan made the only choice available in his mind right now, escape. Rohan turned around and sprinted through the woods. Not even bothering to turn around to see if he was still being chased. After a while, Rohan started to feel dizzy. His speed started to reduce while his vision blurred and his legs felt weak. Rohan had unconsciously ignored it for a while now, but he had been walking for hours on end on an empty stomach, which his body was used to by now, but his trip today was overdoing it. His feet slowly reduced his pace to a slow walk, where he stood still for a few moments before falling to his knees and collapsing on a patch of grass. The patches of rags he called clothes barely protected him from the cold grass. That cool feeling beneath him was all he felt as his eyes closed and he passed out, unable to think anymore. |

Verel Verel sighed, “We won’t overpower the IAHD. They are far superior in raw strength, however they can still be fought with the right tactics. On my home planet, there were beings who controlled the world with their military might. A resistance was formed, but when they started there were only two members. They would take out one military captain after another with assasinations, weakening the command structure. We will do the same. Through the right tactics, we will weaken them. Then, in their moment of weakness, the IAHD will crumble on its own. Direct assaults are outdated, so we will use indirect methods such as infiltration and financial pressure to disable their command system, working in the shadows and keeping our hands clean until the end game.” Verel paused and adjusted his coat, “Nature should not have to conform to the rules of man, so I will lead the way in humbling the IAHD and any other group that stands in our way.” |

Verel “Yes, your conditions are acceptable.” Verel gave a bow and when all was set, he took his leave. Verel exited the cave and called to bird first, offering more compensation for the bird’s efforts. “We’ve finished our arrangements with the inhabitants here, let us make way for the snake den. Come Dog, V-01.” He looked around for a moment, searching the tree lines before asking bird: “Are there any other creatures who know of the ‘box of dead things’ location?” Celcei Cel returned the sword to Verel, and walked behind him as they followed Bird. As they walked, she scanned the surrounding area, hearts would come and go, mostly insects alongside small rodents. She would continue to scan, looking up and covering every side, occasionally checking her back. Dog walked in front of Verel to complete the miniature convoy as they made their way towards the snake den. |

The bird began guiding them, and briefly answering his question. “Oh? Yes, yes. The humans. The metal people. The other people. The Ghouls. The spiders. Everyone knows where the box of dead things is.” Through a particularly dense set of foliage is a large crater that has been chiseled out into a set pathways up. A bunch f holes in the crater lead into a few tunnels. Big holes. Cel would note that some of the trees seemed to have them, as well as a rock. She would also make out a faint humanoid figure moving close behind them. Picked up only by the warped thermals. But there was no heart. Distorted and hardly visible, but there. Barely. |

Verel “Thank you, your assistance has been of much value.” Verel confirmed with bird if the holes were entrances to the snake den, and if they were he would enter them alone, moving slowly and carefully. Dog was ordered to gaurd Cel while he was below. The risk was great, but Verel soon understood his powerlessness over most creatures on this planet and that he could do little to prevent an assault. He brought his sword knowing of his powerless state, and kept it sheathed as he traversed further into the tunnels. Celcei Cel pretended to ignore the seemingly heartless figure until Verel had entered the tunnels. Once Verel had made his way in traversing the crater, she leapt to the side unnaturally and rolled into the brush with the crater edge at her back. She searched for the anomaly from where it was last noticed, listening to her surroundings and scanning left to right. In a moment of doubt she yelled from her position: “Wevn sien Iihire negere unserrat nichlev alten, davv zerde ix, Erzpriesterin vel Virillia, sivin Vergessenhein uulag.” If you do not halt your curiosity in our manners then I, holy saviour of Virillia, will smite you into oblivion. It was an empty threat, and even emptier as Cel realized the being would almost certainly have no inclination of what she had threatened it with. If nothing happened, Cel would crawl through the brush to a different position alongside Dog, waiting there and scanning for any assailants. |

The bird could confirm that the so called “king of snakes” lived in this crater. But admitted to never coming here. So he didn’t know. Verel ventured into the cave, to find a much more well lit room. And what was presumably the King of Snakes. A huge serpent. Long and narrow, a snake of 7foot diameter at its thickest point was curled up in the center. It’s scales were green of various shades, and it’s eyes were a slotted yellow. It’s scales pointed out and overlapped like barbs. It was laying down, but it’s slit narrowed as you entered view, making it obvious it was awake, and was watching you. There were mountains of bones in this room, as well as pillars of peculiar roundness. However, upon further inspection, they weren’t pillars. They were convienently packed columns of smaller snakes all silently observing. A few thousand at least. He was the king, and these were his people supposedly. Cel called out to the entity that had followed them some ways. She suddenly felt as if a finger was placed on her forehead and a tinge of electricity. However, before she could react to that, she felt a single hand wrap around her throat tightly and lift her up off the ground as the creature manifested. It spoke to her as it dangled her over the edge of the crater in her own tongue. Dog attacked, but the monsters claws ripped into Dogs head and crushed his skull. Dog never even managed to attack. ”And how... do you plan to ‘smite’ me? Don’t threaten a higher being, little girl... We don’t take them very well.” it’s voice was antagonistic, as it gripped her throat tightly, slowly strangling her. Until he let go. The brief relief of being able to breath again was interrupted by the feeling of you falling. And after two seconds of falling, you hit the side of the sloping crater. Rolling don the side and hitting with just enough force to wound you. Leaving you just barely breathing, and fully awake and in pain. Something tells you that was the point though. She finally stopped falling on the edge of one of the holes, near the craters bottom. If it hadn’t been dispelled by now, she could see the anomaly still there. Standing on a terrace above her. |

Verel Verel was impressed, for serpentine were not known to exhibit such high levels of organization on Virillia and it came as an interesting surprise. He was unnerved by the silent gaze and for a moment debated with himself what their customs might be. He listened for communication between the snakes, and adapted the language so that he may speak, calmly stating: "My name is Verel, I come peacefully and in search for the King of Snakes." He kept his words brief and soft, but strong enough to reach the largest snake. Celcei Cel crawled a bit away from the hole's edge, keeping her gaze on the being and breathing slowly. Her knife stake would prove useless against something strong enough to throw her, and Dog's heart was nowhere to be seen. She was out of ideal options. Cel continued crawling while waiting for her breath to return. Her visuals began to static, so she marked the being's location in her mind, retracting Heartseeker to reveal her expressionless face. What a pain, what a pain, what a pain, what a pain. Pain is a pain. Speaking is a pain. Living is a pain. Dog is useless, brother is useless, this body is useless. Cel crawled forward towards the anomaly a bit more until she believed it to be within earshot. Quoting from the Deathless Lord Minnoch, a scholarly executioner, Cel spat: "Why does a higher being such as yourself meddle in the affairs of the weak? It's not a good habit to consort with lower creatures, it'll spoil your mind and bring you down to their level someday." |

“Your tongue, is not made, for our words.” The Snake spoke out in human speak. Though it’s voice projected from the air. “Do not offend us with Vain attempts of familiarity.” The serpent had not even blinked. The right eye on its head was facing you. It’s had resting against a weathered rock. Probably ground down to a flawless fit for it by constant use. The snake had its own pillow. “What do you want?” Cel tried to provoke the being further, and in response she got laughter and a whisper in her ear. ”Meddle? What have I done but watch? It was you who transgressed, I only paid back what was due.” |

Verel Verel couldn’t understand what the snake had said, but he could tell the speech was human. Ahh, a failure. This creature has had too much contact with humans, enough to speak their foul language. “Sorry, but I don’t understand human language. I can speak many different tongues, however human is not one of them.” Celcei Cel rested there in silence for a bit, recovering slowly but surely. She listened to her surroundings and even further, deeper into the forest for any opportunity. The being above her was quick to anger and curious, giving Cel reason enough to believe that although it was strong, it was still not more than a child. Even bears are strong, for this being was nothing less in her mind than a childish brute. “You speak Virillian. What is it that you want?” |

It decided then to speak in its own tongue. Though it was obviously annoyed. “Failure to understand the common tongue of this world will see you fail in all of your endeavors... For the second time, What do you want?” It’s tail raised up, it had no rattle, but was covered in spikes and barbs. Meanwhile, Cel continued to talk. And the entity’s decided it was done talking. “I don’t want anything.” After that, it went silent. Completely silent. It had moved on to watching Verel. Though he wouldn’t see, or otherwise detect the presence. Though the snake certainly seemed more wary all of a sudden. Because it did detect the entity. The snakes everywhere also seemed to become alert. |

Verel Verel shrugged and raised his hands back behind his head, a grin crept across his face. “Do not worry about my adversities. I came to ask for supplies as well as offer an alliance, but I’m sure neither offer you much more than what you already have. I will leave promptly and not bother you again should you decide against both: The supplies I am in need of is venom, just enough to fill this sword’s sheath. I cannot offer anything in return but my word, that I shall return the favor with interest. As for the alliance, I aim to unite the inhabitants of this forest and eventually the neighboring lands. If you wish no part, I will not bother you further.” Verel didn’t care for either the alliance nor the venom, for the arachnids already could provide both. Nonetheless he decided to ask, not out of strategy, but curiosity. Celcei Cel laid there and rested, eventually reforming Heartseeker and moving back towards the crater’s edge. It was too late for her to take any action against the being, or even warn her brother. Celcei could tell from her brother’s movements what path he had decided on, but she could do nothing in her current state to help him. Cel looked down at the large holes and curled up, wrapping her arms around her knees. I’ll be discarded if I stay. I have to find my value again. Now with Heartseeker, Celcei picked up her stake knife and made her way through the dense forest slowly. Taking care to avoid further injury, she crept quietly out of the forest. Leaves Area |

“You wish...” The serpents head raises up. It looks at you with its right eye. “To make a sovereign nation out of nature?” It’s tongue, which was grey, licked the air around you. “What an interesting notion... not original. Verel Verel noticed the eye movements of the snake, but disregarded them for the time being and made a mental note to protect his back. Using summon to kill Dog (unknowingly already killed) should he need immediate assistance. Cel could assuredly defend herself on her own. "It is true my idea lacks originality, however it is what I shall pursue nonetheless. As to why....well why do anything? Existence is a short, boring ordeal. Humans and creatures alike come and go with the flow of time. Living, dying, being forgotten. Despite this there are those who strive for a cause greater than themselves, and in doing so they become legends. The end goal I have set is larger than you and me. It is larger than this forest, the neighboring lands, this world, my homeworld, and the universe. It is greater than legends and ultimately greater than space and time, but I cannot walk that treacherous path alone. My end goal is a secret, but the force I need to achieve it will start here, in these woods." |

The look it gave you was growing ever so intense. It looked ahead at you with both eyes. It raised its head and slammed its weapon-like tail into the ground. “I will not fight for your cause. I shall not sacrifice my kin to your cause. However, until a greater force rises up and crushes you, we will rise with your banner. Providing that which only serpents can. And the influence my presence may still hold with the others. However, this is all contingent on the Guardian. If it says no, then you will find no aid in these lands. It’s word is the command that the forest obeys. If he so willed it, even the moss covered stones would rise up and fight.” The serpent drew back a bit. Having made its point clear. “We will not die for you. Nor will we fight for you. But if the Guardian seems it acceptable, you may still count us among your populace, providing you with other, alternative aid. Whether or not my words can be swayed will depend on the direction this takes. I would prefer to keep ourselves clean if you were to fail.” |

Verel Verel sighed and said, “Very well. I shall push you no further than that. If I may ask however, where may I find this Gaurdian of the forest?” The Gaurdian sounded morally righteous, which for Verel wasn’t ideal. Despite this, he believed even the righteous can be used. With a little guidance and a little deceit. |

The great serpemt paused for a moment. “There is a tree in which the guardian spends most of its time by. Simplystand under it and call the name ‘Reighk’” pausin again, the serpent explained were. “This tree is special. A white leaved tree that follows the sun and moon. It cannot be found if you are not searching for it. Go to the tower of Ruin... and follow the body in the sky. Be it sun or moon. In five hundred steps you will find the Silent Glade.” |

Verel “I am gratious for your assistance. With luck I shall return for the venom, otherwise I may be dead.” Verel took his leave and climbed back up the tunnels. Upon exiting he noticed that Cel had left, but decided not to pursue the matter. For if she died or lived was not his concern. Verel used Inheritance, summoning a new entity and made way for the tower of ruin, having bird or another bird lead the way. |

He was led back to Vern Octos, and following the serpents instruction, he followed the sunset for fivehundred feet. And, indeed there was a glade. A beautiful white tree was at the center of a clearing. The insects and birds seemed to stay away. As there was no sound. It was serene here. Should Verel have called out the name of the guardian, the ground behind him would break. A d a giant skeleton with a cow skull would jut up out of the ground before you could even look behind you. The skeleton had a elephants ribcage, a horses arms, with human hands, where the fingertips were replaced with bird talons. The skeleton was held together with roots, and wooden legs complete the strange thing. It silently looked at you. |

Verel Verel had indeed called out, and to his surprise he found a being more worthy than any of the others he had come across so far. Verel assumed the entity could listen to the speech of bird, so he utilized the tongue. "My name is Verel, a traveler from another world. I have come to make a request and an unrelated question. My request: I ask that those who choose to aid me or do business with me in this forest are allowed to under your permission. My question: what do you wish for most out of your existence?" ((You got flesh again)) “Speak... slowly. Time moves too fast for me... And oft too fast to understand...” Once Verel had made sure that the Guardian could here him as he spoke, th Guardian thought. “Somethimg gave you my home... Which means your request of them... may potentially violate the Vinelaw we Leshen spoke so many ages ago ... And so... I must ask what your request to the denizens of this place is...?” His question put the creature to thought, “What I wish for the most... More of my kind... a Child perhaps... I am the last of us in this forest... and I cannot leave... But above such desires... I wish to nurture... It was what we do... It is what we are...” |

Verel Verel spoke slowly enough so that his words could be understood: “Supplies, support, and trade when I am able, is all the business I will do with the entities within this forest. Support will be internal of course, only ranging within the forest perimeter itself and supplies will be nothing requiring too much effort. When I begin to develop a foundation, I will travel to other lands and bring back items at request of clients from these woods. If you are able, why not train me to take your place temporarily? In order that you may go out in search of a mate, and raise a child who will be your true heir. I do not wish to impose on your responsibilities, however I cannot proceed without allies and will do what I can to aid you.” Verel believed it to be a fair enough deal, a couple of months or years meant little while pursuing the path to eternal conquest. |

“It would take a hundred years to teach you the ways of a Leshen... to seed and nurture the magics within you... Eaiser to find a mate and bring them to me... Quicker too... You have my permission to do such things within my forest... And if you can find me a mate... I will give unto you something great in return... If that finds your interest...” |

Verel Verel bowed and stated: “I have two more immediate dealings I must address within this forest: with the sister ghouls and the box full of dead things. However upon my completion with those entities whether in success or failure, I shall make way to search for your mate. Do all Leshen live within forests?” Once Verel had collected all the information he needed from the lonesome Gaurdian, he made his way towards the Ghouls with the help of Bird. Along the way he sent a request to the Spider nest (via spiders he came across) for necrotic spider venom (which would most likely come naturally from a recluse) that he would come to collect or check the progress on later. Amount-wise it could be anywhere from one pint to a liter (approx. 400-1000 ml). After having walked a bit with Bird, he asked: “We are down to the last two entities, however, are there any other large powers within the Serva forest or near it?” |

Verel Verel entered the cave, walking slowly and being careful not to make much noise. He didn’t mind the threat of death, after all any of the other creatures could have already easily killed him. Verel brought his sword, however doubted still that it would be enough to take on two beasts notorious for killing humanoids. He used Inheritance to kill flesh, throwing the body back out and a bit aways from the cave. |
