Everyone is dying to know Kotaro and Sakura's relationship and while I agree, I really wanna know what's under his shades! They've made a point of hiding his eyes so much that I want to know what it is!

Overall, this series is a 8/10 for me. What a fun experience.

The last 3 episodes did hit my heartstrings, can't lie about that.

Too many revelations and things to come to end up like that. This, definitely, needs a second season or a continuation. Seeing that this is an Original show, there is no Manga tie-in with it.

Anyway, this was such a good/great show and the last episodes were great. Sakura's anxiety arc which is very relatable to many people around.

I just want to say:

I
WAS
RIGHT

... Kind of

Kotaro is not a God like I hat theorized (probably) but he did have a crush on Sakura, which is why he revived her and formed an idol group. Can't wait for season 2. This is me right now:

Those characters are the perfect representation of this show's fanbase lol

Plenty of things to think about in this last episode plot wise. But it is a shame CG is still being put into anime at painfully slow frame rates. It kind of kills the moment and defeats the purpose /in my opinion) of why they employ CG in the first place.

Other than that, I have huge expectations for a second season...and I really hope there is one coming up. How the show ended really leaves a good ground to build up a new season.

Not bad, last 15 seconds were the most important part of the episode.
I'll come back for season 2 for sure, but I hope it improves a bit.
can't quite put my finger on it yet, but it's lacking something.
also please god with the cgi, it seems off everytime, like it's out of sync or something.

Remembering a little, 6-9 months ago a gymnastics coach hits his student.
There was a video, and that's why The Asian Gymnastics Association suspended it.
the aggrieved gymnast, Sae Miyakawa, asked that they suspend the sanction because "she wants to continue training with Hayami", who alleged that the punches were "to motivate her".

I know that professional sports is not the same as being amateur. Since they need to take their body to the limit.

Do you think that with the Producer shouting at the Zombies, they are trying to emphasize the "extreme" education that the Japanese have?
Maybe because of this anime girls who want to be Idols think it's normal for their Producer / Manager to yell at her. I hope not.
I was going to make a new Theme, but I guess it would be ignored xD
The question isn't "What anime do you like?" That is merely a list.
The question is "Why do you like it?" That tells a story. Your story.

CLAP CLAP CLAP!
such a wonderful episode!
overuse of CG is fine!
Yamada Tae is still LEGENDARY!
we didn't get any back history of Yuugiri & Tae but anyway that's gonna be covered at S2!
we finally saw the true face of the old geezer bartender!
Koutarou has been finally revealed that he is a classmate of Minamoto Sakura.
Franchouchou is currently at the height of greatness as of now! Front stage was in total destruction but they performed and see it through the end that was satisfying!
5/5.
8/10.

eh, what a typical idolish ending. tbh, it went to shit after episode 3 with all this idolshit drama. really sad they didn't continue moving in that direction

not enough tae-chan (still amused her VA is the same as Misato's from Evangelion) solid 5/10 just because of that

I also kept watching only because of tae-chan whose seiyuu is my fav freakin mitsuishi kotono and I prayed for a flashback of her life but maybe we'll have that for season 2 or some OVA. And now I am quite intrigued by Kotaro / Inui san and how he got involved with the girls' resurrection !!!!?

Started strong with wacky humour, ended in trash with shitty drama and usual idol cancer. Impressive how disappointing can a series you're not expecting anything good from become. Basically a series to drop once it stops being funny because it's not getting any better later.

Putting aside what nutjobs it attracted with a boy dressed like a girl. Well, that's what traps are used for but still...

Wow what an episode! Despite all the dangers of debris falling, Sakura and Franchouchou still manages to give an amazing performance!!!

So Koutaro does know Sakura. It kinda makes sense how he appears much older than her(since Zombies don't age). Still, I have to wonder how Koutaro manages to get everyone body into his manor. Maybe, he was researching on how to revive Sakura and everyone?

It seems, we might get S2. Which is surprising! You would think a show like this would only last one season. But due to overwhelming positive reviews and even TGS had more people lining up for Zombieland Saga's booth just shows that Japan will keep this show alive :D

Even had their own concert by Cy Games. This is good!!

I can't wait for S2!!! 8/10!!!

I took my time with this one so let's get this done.

Let's see... Sakura recovers her memory, Tae snaps (sadly, no awakening), some backstory related to Sakura and Kotaro (which brings more questions) and Franchouchou performs their live. There.

Please excuse me if i'm repeating myself, but i'm honestly surprised how great this show actually was. The first episode was rather... you know. But after episode 2, i knew there was something on this one. I'm glad i made it to the end and i'm going to miss this one. 9/10. Now if they can give us a sequel at some point, that would be nice. There are still some things i'm looking for answers.

For my first Idol anime I think it was way better than expected.

Characters are fantastic, the manager at first is just pure Mamoru doing what he does the best (that means screaming and mucking). It's quite a mix between some of his roles like Kida and obviously HOUOUIN KYOUMA !
I'm almost unable of naming the main casts of my favorite shows while I'm sure I'll never forgot any of Zombieland Saga's girls names during my whole life. Sakura, Saki, Ai, Junko, Lily, Yugiri and THE LEGENDARY TAE YAMADA are all well written with their stereotypes.

This serie has a good and goofy animation (except for those crappy CGI dances cough cough),
awesome music undeniably : Opening is catchy and memorable, second's episode rap battle IS LIIIITTTT,
also I really like Lily's and Saki's song, they were warmful and epic.

The plot was more driven by a following of comedy scenes than a real story but meh it works. The concept of having zombies, so dead people, as your main cast was a stupid idea at first but it really brought up a huge amount of laughs and memes.

Overall It's a strong 8/10 and I'm sure there are no Idols anime existing right now that are as original as ZombieLand Saga is, I MEAN THERE'S A FUCKING RAP BATTLE IN IT THAT JUSTIFIES TO WATCH THE WHOLE SHOW.

I wasn't too sure what to expect from this anime going in. I knew there was more flair to it than the synopsis seemed to let on, so I ended up picking it up. I did really like it. It's got its zany situations but it's also not without its kinda heart grabbing moments either. One of my interests is looking into how people died-- especially if they've become a ghost (or in this case, a sentient zombie). I actually spend more time than I'm comfy with looking up mummies and just dead people in general and then figuring out how they died and such.
There was something-- Re-Kan which slightly went into some ghost backstories, and I appreciated that... but it also missed the mark in some places. Zombieland Saga was a treat for me, then. We did get SOME backstory about some of these girls and their deaths and that did give me quite a bit to think about especially when it came to their characters.
I WAS just a little upset that we really didn't get too much of a look into Yuugiri's life-- I mean, I'm glad we were given enough information to read between the lines when it came to certain things, but I wish we could have known even more. I mean, I guess, aside from the older guy at the bar, she probably figures that whoever was involved is dead now so whatever, move on, right? Like, the only thing I can really get though is maybe that because she was an oiran and was practicing to be a geisha, and geisha were not really supposed to do any prostitution, maybe someone found out that she was kinda doubling up on the professions and had her beheaded. But who knows? I wish we knew-- but it's more that I'd like to know how she feels about it, because for the most part, she seems to look back on a lot of her skills, past customers, and such with fondness and not exactly bitterness. So I'm really curious.

And then with Tae, I'm pretty content with her being the character we'll never know anything about. Like, it'd be nice to know, but I think it fits to not know. And then maybe one day we'll get the full story about Kotarou and Sakura. How trippy is that though? You've revived your classmate and she hasn't really aged at all... or she's aged in a way-- she's decayed.;; But I think that's a whole other thing to explore: how does Kotarou feel about THAT?

Anyway, though Zombieland Saga does leave you with some questions, it does leave you with some things to ponder, and I think that's something I always like to come away from a show with.

That truly is an odd ending, it makes me think as though a second season is being teased or something.
I really unexpectedly liked how the twist with the manager being an ex-classmate of Sakura's was, I was just cheering for a Geisha girl and manager's ship an episode ago, actually, just trash that, I'm all for Sakura and the manager now.
Really dope stuff if the band, it feels as their journey into saving Saga (what even that meant really) is just beginning, just give us a second season, please. Really going to miss this series, definitely rewatching it in dub this time.

So glad Sakura was was able to get her memories back. Tae-chan was a the real MVP though. Can't believe Kotaro knew Sakura in the past! Does he have a thing for her? What's his story exactly? And it looks like the after credits scene set up a season 2. I really really hope we get one.

Loved this show. The characters were great, the art style was cute and appealing, the animation at some places was really well done, the music was catchy as hell and the comedy was golden. It oozed with charm and I pray we get to see the girls again.

This show was definitely the surprise of the season. It had some one or two weak episodes, but everything else was silver to gold. Lots of energy, a fun style, awesome characters, and a lot of faces to screencap and post as reactions across the internet for ages to come. Looking forward to seeing a second season someday, hopefully with enough extra budget to not have to go CGI for the dances.

Now we know who's been the bad luck magnet since the beginning of the series. Forgetting about it helped her overcome it in the end. You thought that lightning came because one of the members hand to overcome their phobia? Nope, it was all Sakura. You thought familiar faces recognizing our MCs were just coincidences? Nope, Sakura increased the probability tenfold. Of course, all of them doing showbiz where they were born and raised didn't help.

They didn't show Tae and Onee backstories.

I didn't get exactly what is the "save saga" thing? I have some ideas in mind, though.

There're few times he's funny, but most of the times producer-san is very annoying. Would have been better (for the sake of enjoyment) if he weren't THAT annoying. IMO.

I think that if it weren't for Tae and the dog I would have enjoyed much less this anime.

I might make a review out of this. I'm looking forward to a potential continuation of the story.
