| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- WEI YING IS BACK. YILING LAOZU IS HERE. The Sunshot Campaign has started and Wen Xu died without even making an appearance at all. xD Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli's reunion was very nice and touching. Also, byebye to Wang Lingjiao. Her death here was different compared to the novel but it was still horrifying. Lan Zhan's VA did a good job yelling "Where is Wei Ying?!" and the scream afterward. ;_; I love how ominous the following scene became too. A few crows fly past, then a whole bunch comes toward them while the flames turn bright green followed by the creepy flute sounds and finally a short glimpse of Wei Ying. Next ep is the last one of this season. Seasons 2 will be back in 2019. |

| I actually enjoy this episode more than what happened in the novel, like it was way less dramatic lmao with how wei ying came back. but we got to see lan zhan all worried about him when he heard he was thrown in the burial mound. |

| Yeah, I found it a bit sad that they changed the death of that Wen bitch D: Was so looking forward to the stool leg she stuffed in her throat lolol The scene with Lan Zhan, bloody fingers and totally worried about Wei Ying ;__; Those feels T^T And the end, the return of our badass Wei Ying, too much goosebumps und almost hyperventilate xDD Those pictures, the crows, the music and the flute.. all in all, such a nice ep. Next week the last ep ;__; Don't want D: 2019.... come fast >__> |
| the flute music really gave me goosebumps, not to mention the green flames and WWX's red eyes at the end holy crap I'm kinda sad about the changes from the novel, but then again it's interesting to see different "story lines", and the way WWX appeard in this episode was just really amazing!! can't wait for the next ep and the next season <3 |

| Wei Wuxian is back and I must say he is a vicious spirit indeed. The Wens are in deep trouble now, I hope he starts with that Chao guy. He sure killed Chao's girl in a brutal manner. I'm glad Jiang Cheng's sister is back. |

When the story went back to 20 years ago at the end of ep 2, it is when Wei Wuxian was still alive in his own body. |

| Damn, Wang Lingjiao got what she was previously asking for while acting all bossy and tough. Wei Wuxian is back, and what an ominous entrance at that on both occasions! Wang Lingjiao’s demise was especially creepy with the talisman flying around and the guards coming back as zombies and such. Wen Chao has no idea what’s to come his way now, I bet he was petrified to death when the bunch of crows appeared and what’s to come is definitely going to be more frightening for him. Can’t wait to see Wei Wuxian finish him off in style! |

| I really liked the scene where Wen Chao's woman got what was coming to her - the camera shots in this episode were all around high quality, as if they were meant to be standalone pictures rather than animation. Very eery scene. Wen Wuxian coming in to the rescue! He's so cool! |
