| Hmmmm I can't think of any songs off the top of my head tbh. That also could be because I'm super sleep deprived and have two assignment due today by midnight ahaha I'll have to do some research, but I'm totally open to doing an edition for it. Edit: After thinking about it for literally 5 more seconds I've realized that I do indeed know a bunch of winter songs. We're good lol |

| @ownitlikeaboss I did plan to make one, but since I have school and all, I've mostlt planed to work on these on Christmas Holidays. As for the Winter/Christmas card edition name, well... for now I don't really know but I'll think about it. |
| @ownitlikeaboss btw, I forgot to mention that since I was in a hurry (I was in the middle of a short break at school) : OMG THE MEMBER CARD LOOKS SO GOOOOD THERE'S EVEN MY 2ND FAVORITE SONG FROM NULUT OMGGGGG - *overhyped screaming goat noise intensifies ahem... sorry about that... anyways you've done an incredible job for the member cards. Not only do they look pretty stylish with that blurry effect you've added, they also feel like they can also fit everyone's preferences. Ps : I've read your request and since you and Micsupreeme have been working here for enough time, I accept making you two admins. However, the original reasons why I almost never make new staff members admin (except for phil because he's a graphic designer, but since he had some big exams he told me he was gonna be on hiatus until December) is because I pretty much wanted to have control over "everything" to make sure I don't have any accidents with the club in the future (like for example, imagine I one day recruit someone as an admin who turns out to be a troll and decides to mess around with the thread or stuff like that...). Therefor, I decided that if some new members wants to become a card maker for our club, than I'd preferred that they'll first send me their editions by e-mail and maybe than I'll promote them as admins. |

| SO. I think it's about time we talk about what we could do for Christmas aside from a card collection. FIRST : @ownitlikeaboss since you spend more times in clubs than me, I was wondering if you could find me some graphic designer for the club. Phil has his final exam for the semester so he's pretty much unavailable for now. I was wondering if you knew someone that likes vocaloid and that I can recruit for a graphic designer. SECOND : About the "challenge" (yeah I know it's pretty annoying) I think it's a bit too soon to create one yet (not to mention your club owner is an incompetent douche who doesn't know jack shit about clubs and challenges) I thought we could make some small contest like a fanart contest. One of the problem I have by making the challenge is that most of these challenge are anime watching challenge that came out this year, and because of the release of seasonal anime happening every season, it's a challenge that can recycle over and over again. The vocaloid industry's is completely different to the anime industry. Since vocaloid is just a program that anyone can use to make individual songs, anybody can release a song whenever they like and the number of songs that can come out each year can be limited... We could make a simple challenge outside of it being a "2018 vocaloid listening challenge" but than we won't be able to recycle it... THAT'S WHY, I thought we could find some knew other ways to make club activities that could make everyone participate and that we could actually recycle, and I think a fanart contest would be perfect for that. Not only they're easy to organize, they can also be recycle if we make one that corresponds to some seasonal events (of course I think I'll also need to recruit some thread monitors for that one to make sure the participants don't steel other people fanart or that they re-used some older fanarts they made a decayed ago). My only concern about an art contest, would be that me might not get very many participants. It doesn't seem like very many or our members actively participate in club activities. Especially since we're a fanclub, we have a lot of people who just join because they like vocaloid, but don't really participate. I think we should find out what our members want first before rushing into anything. Maybe we should put out a poll so that we can find what our members want from us gfx, challenge, and contest wise? It's a little discouraging when we work on cards and then no one requests them ;;;;; I agree about the listening challenges though. I feel like it's too easy, especially since we have no way to monitor it. People could just fill it out any way they wanted to, and we wouldn't know if they were making it up or not. We could do an anime watching challenge with voca related anime. It would only be a one time thing though, and with the participation that we have right now from our member, it would also most likely be a no time limit thing. We could also do like a monthly challenge, where people watch one voca related anime that we choose for them during that month. We would eventually run out of anime though + there's not very many to begin with. If we wanted to broaden it more, we could do an anime challenge where a vocaloid producer has worked on it, even if the anime doesn't directly have anything to do with vocaloid. There would be more in this category, but it would also be a bit more difficult to track them all down. Same deal with manga, although I believe there's slightly more manga, but it's also incredibly hard to get your hands on some of them. I feel like challenges in general will be hard to pull off unless we come up with a really good format for it. Also @Micsupreeme I feel like we should close the November birthdays at the end of the month? Are you okay with that or do you want it kept open longer? |

I also agree that we need to make a poll to know what the members want. But I still believe the contest might as well work. Now of course it's too early for that and we need to make that poll first, but the other reason why I think this might work is because, a big part of the people active in the fandom makes vocalloid fanart, in fact if you check the vocaloid amino, almost 99% of it's content are about fanarts. I actually thought about posting a contest announcement (don't worry I didn't actually posted that, it's just an idea) so that those who has a MAL account could come joining the club to participate to these contest. Also, while it probably won't be changing anything, I've added some little details to the club description about the club like calling it a Card/Music club in hopes that more people could join to also collect cards and maybe it might encourage you a little more for the efforts you put by making these cards... A lot of people just don't wanna participate in games or cards, so this can be a way to encourage more people to participate. Is to offer another activity in order to maintain the club, you know... active. Share opinions. A example can be: Who is your favorite engloid? And the people like: Oh look! Sweet Ann won! |

| @BackToThe2013 I still don't think there's really any benefit. Having a poll doesn't really get people involved with the club. There's not discussion, it's just kinda of there. With your example, I don't think anything would really happen afterward. They'll just look at it and move on. And lurkers might not even participate in the poll since they just join this club as a sort of status thing and never actually check any of the threads. If we're okay with the poll just being a super passive thing, then we can have it, but I personally don't see any benefit in having it with simply random trivia or random opinions on things. |
