What was the movie you did not like watching recently?

Chiyoko Fujiwara:Look, the full moon...
The Man of the Key: It won't appear until tomorrow, but I like this moon better.
After the full moon, everything begins to wane. But with this penultimate moon,
there is still tomorrow, and so, there is still hope.

Would you like to live in a Post-Scarcity society?

I think so. But in a Post-Scarcity there is no need to "work" to make a living as all of your basic needs will be available almost free and in abundance. Maybe this can create a lack of meaning in a person's life. I don't know i never thought deeply about this concepts tied to futurism.

Do you think that Brexit will be a good thing?

It depends if the UK and European Union can reach a deal. A no deal scenario could have serious consequences that can impact no only the European economy, but also in the rest of world.

How much do you mind poor animation in an anime?

to summarize ahead of time, it doesn't matter too much, to a point, once it reaches being that bad though nothing can make up for it.

Hmm... Well, what exactly counts as poor animation depends on the context, but I'd say that it does tend to bother me quite a bit. If good animation can enhance any experience and greatly support the storytelling, bad animation can equally take any experience down a notch and muddle the narrative by not properly supporting the story being told, or in some cases even by directly contradicting the text. Too slow or simplistic action animation, for example, can take away some of the tension of a scene by making a hectic melee look like children playing with wooden swords, or baffle the viewer by having a character stand still and take a hit from a slow-moving attack they really should have been able to dodge.

If it distracts me from whatever's happening or ruins an emotional/tense scene then it's no bueno :x but otherwise it's not a huge deal for me, I think ^^

I like to laugh or think.

Sometimes I get to do both ~

Best kinda stuff is when the characters are so well written in depth that you actually care about them though o.o. ^^

^I don't feel sad when I feel angry, I blank when I get angry and when I snap out of it... things happen... which is why I avoid getting angry o.o^

What was the last video game you played that made you cry because of the characters?

If you don't play games... I guess just list an form of media that last made you cry and what it was called o.o.

Why do you think we chose to live together in a city instead of living as lone families?
Nov 23, 2018 6:05 AM

Offline
Nov 2017

Probably because once those lone families grew and branched out over the generations the members of the branching bloodlines felt kinship with their kin and wanted to live together and keep contact with each other. While the life of a nomadic hunter-gatherer wouldn't allow for the entire clan to live in the same place for longer periods of time they would stay within the same general area, gathering together for feasts and rituals, or possibly wander around together in search of sustenance.

As ways of living were found that allowed for permanent settlement these families built villages near their farmlands or fishing areas and became sedentary instead of nomadic or semi-nomadic. While all of this was happening these families, most likely having strong incest taboos, married members of other families, clans and bloodlines and formed bonds of kinship and alliance with each other. As more and more people lived in villages and more and more families bonded with each other, growing closer in the process, the size of their permanent settlements grew until they could no longer be considered villages and became cities instead.

So in summary we live in cities because villages became too small.

...

Same question, I just can't think of another. >_<

to try to answer in very few words: convenience. when people decided to become communities where each one has a role/job , it became a necessity or convenient to live close to each other. today we live in big cities because the variety of the possibilities, options you have there is infinitely bigger than small towns.
(my reasoning should be explained with many more words but it's too early)

how long does it take you to call someone a friend?

Most people put themselves over others, even if they're the kind that likes to help out others, they may do it mostly self-servingly ^^

But that might not even be what you're asking, I can't really tell... I'm sorry :c

it depends on the definition of sport, if we consider sport an engaging physical activity then maybe not, but if we consider sport an activity that involves training and competition, then it does.

I almost always study with music, so it usually covers up any sounds. I also keep my door closed.

Suppose that humanity finds the way to safely send people to Mars, within a few years. It is confirmed to be 100% safe once you land, but you don't know if anything will happen to you later in the future (for example, an unknown sickness that takes time to show symptoms may infect everyone who went there). You are given the chance to be one of the first people to visit it (for free), but another trip won't happen again in your lifetime (or it will be very expensive, in short: its your only chance).
Would you go?

edit: to add a bit more detail. As far as you would know, its completely safe. But there would still be a chance scientists missed something that would prove fatal.
