The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
| I heard that the manga adapts all of the novel so after finishing 'The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya' movie (and the series) i started wondering at what chapter should i pick up the manga? |

I'm aware that the novel is on indefinite hiatus but as far as i read online the animes don't adapt all of the novel but the manga does (correct me if i'm wrong). |

If I remember correctly, Volume 9 is where The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya is wrapped up. They have an extra side story at the end of that manga volume. After that the story is continued where the movie left off in volume 10. The manga is 20 volumes long. Hopefully we get more Haruhi adapted. It seems they have enough content for a season or two. |

Correct me if i'm wrong but the LN is already finished according to Wiki:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haruhi_Suzumiya if you prefer novel you can look it up at google and download it According to this site and a few other novel/manga database sites it's on hiatus. |
