they're adapting 9 volumes in 26 episodes, so i think it will be like that to the end because they have to rush every volume , there's good arcs coming but i don't know how they will adapt them with this pace, the 4-6 arc was supposed to be very good but it turned out bad because of this pace, maybe they will adapt the last arc ( last 3 volumes ) better than this idk tbh |

The serie finished there? there's two LN series , they're trying to end the first series this season which means they are adapting from volume 14 to 22 , there's a sequel to the original LN called Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index , which is 21 volume now and still ongoing |

The serie finished there? Index novel had finished part 1 Old Testament which is what they are animating (22 vols), the orginal author is almost finished with part 2 New Testament (21 vols so far) and there would likely be the last part of the trilogy Revelation. As for the anime, it would get worse, you could gave the production committee the best source and they would still take a huge dump on it. No time, no budget, no planning and most of all not enough episodes. |

| I really hope so cause I'm ready to drop it sadly. I liked the series too, but I can't even sit through this mess now. I have to play a game while watching this until the good part or it's just a waste of time. |

| I don't know what to tell you. I re-watched s1 and s2 and am currently on ep 16 of of s3 and enjoying it. |
