| Wow, I can't believe the author just pulled off a very complicated well-planned story from chapter 1 (such as Himeji's cameo) and actually explained it well with season 1 + 2 But it also raises a few questions... did Kaede killed the brainwashed Maria? If so, then how did the woman red cheek is in the present. Also who is that little kid? I know she followed Kaede wayback in season 1, but who is she? |

| Saying that the timelines switching to and fro without any heads-up were a mess is probably an understatement. As confusing as it was though, I still liked seeing Himeji taking the initiative to insert Asuka into Tsukune to stop the Childhood Friend Curse and starting the whole magical bloodfest which was undoubtedly the selling point of the manga. Maria being the head Papy-chan and the other Papys being other kidnapped women who wasn't part of the 13 Magical Girls needed was a really big surprise for me. Seeing Kaede being used as a subordinate along with that strange loli and finally getting to read the letter she gave to Tonegaya was a very nice clarification too. |
