| Getting a new apprentice this time, the anime did said it was Yaichi's idea but in this volume, it wasn't. Having Black Ai as a rival for First Ai was more or less derived from that SM-hobbyist author, but then again. . . having weird fetish doesn't really looks odd in this novel considering the first chapter of this series XD. I digress. In conclusion, a good volume as well, this book. The competitiveness of the player is getting more written well in a deep course. |

| Another great volume. I feel like this one had a lot more intense shogi matches than the last, which is definitely good. I'm not sure what favor he was repaying Yaichi for, but it was cool to see that Tsukimitsu was willing to both lose a league match, and set up the whole thing to challenge him. |
