Coz I really hate this kind of thing and don't want any anime to use this kind of plot. I really don't understand why the hell they use these RAPE and NTR plot in the LN, Manga and Anime. By using it they ruin the whole story. Well because they can, i also never support anything that involving somehing like rape or bdsm things in general but most of them have their own reason to use it in their story materials. For example in any contexts like video games or in every their race stories, we are always told that most of goblin races are known for having full hatred to human and love to rape women and kill their children although it's just in writing and rarely being shown directly like an animation so people mostly have no clue how cruel they are and thinking they are just level 1 enemies in general, it's usually just talk-to-talk between people like the npcs or when we read it in the notes we found inside the game, that's because they are always non important enemies in most video games and adventure anime. And because an anime like goblin slayer precisely using "goblin" as the main hostiles and subject in the story, so more likely they need to show what makes the goblin is the main reason to be hated in this anime and how terrible and vile the goblin is by showing the contexts which in this case is the "rape" and "torture" scene to show what makes them so horrid and why we should hate them so much as the viewers. I hate the rape scene as well but i understand their point for using it into their animation by showing people this anime isn't for casual watchers who enjoy the ride of normal fantasy anime but actually it's more darker and not for everyone and to show what the true colors of the goblins so there must be a spesific reason the mc and human hate them as well. It also works with NTR or something like that as well, it's just about perspective and support for the plots of the story, for example almost there is no romance anime where the story is just about one mc and one heroine only without any the third or fourth person, it's so rare, almost all romance anime out there always have the other girl or other boy tries to take the hero or heroine heart, and the most shitty thing is, they usually always more likeable than the main hero/heroine lol (in my opinion after watching through a lot romance anime) which hurts more, i even can name some like nisekoi, sakurasou, nagi no asukara, toradora, and etc. You can try search any romance anime and they would likely have this case in their story, and once they fail or succes to take their heart, it creates NTR incident for each sides and prespective. Yes it sucks but back again, this is a normal and mainstream thing in any romance genre, because for the sake of continuation of the story itself, also if the story is just about the hero and the heroine only and it ends right after they love each other, most people won't like it either because it can be boring or nothnig special except if it's a movie, which the duration is more shorter and story plots are chosen more carefully which is totally understandable. And because NTR, the quote "best girl never wins" was made lol ^^ |

| Y So it seems like it wasn't as bad as it seemed but I think ill still wait til the season is over b4 i finish it bc im not into curveballs once i relax, I did watch episode 3 but I cant help but view this show as a softcore hentai, I mean u have almost a psychological/horror/heavy drama plus sexuality and almost completely broken female leads, basically were only missing either full on NTR, tentacles, or mind broken blackmail. I really have to put this on hold til i can read how it ends b4 continuing bc my upbringing into anime started with Mirai Nicki and that show seemed somewhat reasonableuntil near the end when it scarred me 4 life lol. I will never let that happen again |
