I admire the character of Rem and I am willing to bet, if the author can make a side character like Rem thoroughly impress the people, no doubt that his own choice of a main heroine 'Emilia' will get equal amounts of exploration. Especially considering how she has been carefully kept under wraps throughout the whole season ,which is just a prologue to the long story. The amount of people who completely misunderstood Rem's and Subaru's actions in episode 18 just baffles me. It amuses me at the same time seeing how the author played the audiences like a fiddle. haha On a side note, really eager to lookout for the OVA that releases in 2 weeks. It's not a DVD/BD bundle release but a theatrical screening over Japan. I suspect there is a good probability of a season 2 announcement. |
