Man this manga is so funny sometimes XD Like when Kei and Nakano went into the room with that smoker dude. And nope, Kei ain't normal either, he's pretty OP being able to have his IBM materialize longer than most and more at once too. Lol at the Iowa guy who had an IBM that just went harvesting corn on its own. Sounds pretty useful.

Kei says that he doesn't need Kai anymore, but in a past chapter he was thinking him leaving Kai is for Kai's safety. tsundere? having internal emotional crisis? or maybe i just don't understand Kei anymore

that aside, so did Kei already die when he was a baby if his black ghost existed since he's an infant, as the doctor hypothesized? but Kei can only remember the black ghost when he was with his little sister, so at least he was an ajin since then (unless the black ghost belongs to another person and somehow gets stuck with Kei, but there's no proof of that being possible).

Kei's an ajin even before the truck accident? cool

You know for some reasons I really like this Kei. I think I get what Kei feels, 'cause to be honest I find him and I similar in some ways. I think he feels lonely, but he doesn't acknowledge his loneliness. He envies when he sees some people together, doing things he isn't able to. It's not like he's forgetting Kai or something. I think he just doesn't want to depend on other people, and judging from those eyes, he wants to be stronger and hates to be inferior

Sorry if what I'm saying doesn't make any sense.
I really miss Kai. Kei is way too lonely without him

I mean Kei isn't wrong.. his friends, family etc everyone that he once knew - now can't really help him in any way. That's probably the biggest con of a demihuman, isolation.
